The most magical day
We had the best day at our wedding at Maryculter! We can't fault the staff, we were looked after so well and nothing was too much trouble. Jocelyn especially went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect and I can't thank her enough for everything. It now holds a very special place in our hearts and everyone commented on what a great day they had!

Sons Wedding
Stayed here the night of our sons wedding. Surroundings and location of hotel are excellent for a wedding venue. Ballroom overlooked the river, excellent setting. Food was delicious and piping hot and service was excellent. All staff were friendly and helpful and we were made to feel so welcome. Our room was spacious, homely and clean and extremely comfortable and we had a lovely view over the river. To this end we have taken away great memories of this memorable day. Thank you to all staff.

Lovely Wedding Stay
Just home from a great weekend at Maryculter House celebrating the wedding of friends. The event was superb - ran like clockwork - the staff being extremely efficient and so cheerful . Our room was comfortable and the food excellent. The hotel is full of character and history and even the torrential rain could not mask the beauty of the surrounding gardens. I shall have to find an excuse to return.

Outstanding Wedding Venue
Where do I start, I got married at the Maryculter House on the 18th August 2018. We had several guests traveling from all over the world so we booked the hotel for 2 nights. When we arrived everyone got shown there rooms and we settled in just perfect. As there was about 20 people we got a private room to have our meal in which was really nice as we could all speak across the tables and the food was served just perfectly. On the morning of the wedding i was a bit worried as i knew i had family driving up from Dundee and was worried they wouldn't be able to get into rooms as there check in was 3pm and my wedding was at 1.30pm. But i didn't have anything to worry about all guests arrived around 12/12.30 and everyone got the keys to rooms and was able to get changed. So happy there wasn't a wedding the night before or this wouldn't of been the case as i know the staff have to get all the rooms to a high standard for new guests. Our wedding coordinator was Gemma, she was fantastic all the way up to the wedding and on the wedding day she made my stress levels go from 100 to o. She did everything for me and I didn't worry about anything, the day couldn't have gone any better or smoother. All the staff on the wedding day was so friendly and kind and all my guests were happy with the service from the bar. I cant thank you all enough for such an amazing day. I would highly recommend this hotel for a wedding or even if its just for a short stay, you wont be disappointed.
