Picture it: a stunning venue for your big day, quality seasonal food made sustainably, and packages to suit every budget. From a traditional three-course meal with sparkling wine on arrival and tea and coffee to close, to a simpler pizza-and-drinks option, there's something for every celebration.
Our beautiful, tree-lined, mature garden is set up for special occasions from 1st May through to the end of September. Guests can soak up the sun on the paved terrace or shelter on the shady lawn – both just a stone’s throw from our outdoor bar, pizza oven and grill. We have space for 70 comfortably seated inside the tipi, and up to 100 standing.
And we haven’t even mentioned the award-winning, high welfare, 95% UK-sourced menu our chefs will create in collaboration with you. Lussmanns was recently awarded Three Stars in the Food Made Good Standard - the world’s largest and most rigorous restaurant sustainability certification.
A large free car park is just a short walk away, and separate access to the garden means you can make the space entirely your own. Accessible toilets are on-site, with optional extras including an ice cream trike, our own bar, and a wood-fired pizza oven.
NB: The venue reserves the right to review prices for bookings made more than 12 months in advance.

We had our wedding reception there on Friday and from start to finish, the whole team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran as smoothly as possible. The day was absolutely perfect and there wasn’t one thing we could fault. The food was amazing, the service was brilliant and everything felt so well organised without us ever having to worry about anything. Having our welcome drinks out in the courtyard before moving into the restaurant for the meal made the day feel really special and gave us the perfect mix of having different spaces while still keeping everything intimate and relaxed. So many of our guests commented on how lovely the restaurant was and how great the food and service were, which was so nice to hear. We couldn’t have been happier with how the day went and are so grateful to the whole team for making it so special for us. What experience do we have with weddings and events?
We host wedding receptions all the time in our private dining rooms or full- hire restaurant spaces. All we are doing is transposing our experience to our lovely garden. We also run outside catering services frequently to some high-end clients and have done so for years.
Are we suitable for events other than weddings?
Yes! Our garden, terrace and tipi are the perfect settings for birthdays, occasions and corporate events from a pizza & beer party to a full on corporate bash.
