We recently hosted a wedding that many have called the best we've ever seen at our venue. It was a beautiful summers evening, with the ceremony set in our lush woodland ceremony area surrounded by wild flowers and towering trees. The bride and groom exchanged vows under their own custom-built arch adorned with a mix of white roses and greenery, creating a romantic and elegant atmosphere. Guests were seated on rustic wooden benches arranged in an arch, providing an intimate and inclusive setting. As the sun began to set, fairy lights and lanterns hanging from the trees cast a warm, golden glow over the proceedings. The reception took place in our spectacular tipis, which were transformed into an enchanting space with elegant drapery, indoor trees and the most beautiful foliage wrapped around the poles. The tables were dressed in fine linens. Each table was beautifully decorated with centerpieces of fresh flowers, candles, and personal mementos from the couple's journey together. Dinner was a culinary delight, featuring a multi-course meal prepared by the amazing F4D. The menu included locally sourced ingredients and offered options to cater to all dietary needs. Guests were treated to a variety of gourmet dishes, from appetizers to the main course and a dessert buffet that included a stunning wedding cake designed to reflect the couple's style and taste. Live music from a talented band kept the energy high throughout the evening, and a surprise performance by a close friend of the couple added a personal and memorable touch. Stunning photos by the lake as the sun set will make for the most amazing mementos of this incredible day. Every detail of the wedding was meticulously planned and executed, making it a truly unforgettable event for everyone in attendance. The combination of the beautiful setting, exquisite decorations, delicious food, and joyful celebration created an atmosphere of love and happiness that will be remembered for years to come.

My number one wedding planning tip is to try and enjoy it! Try not to let the whole process become too stressful...this is supposed to be an enjoyable experience and it CAN be. Once you have made the big decisions, the venue, the date....try and remember that this is just a day and once you have the basics booked...then the rest should be fun!

I LOVE it when a friend or family member of the couple run the ceremony, it makes for such a fun and intimate wedding.

My favourite canape is smoked salmon blinis with creme fraiche and dill. The combination of the delicate blini, rich creme fraiche, and savoury smoked salmon topped with a hint of fresh dill is both sophisticated and delicious, making it a perfect appetiser for any event.

It has to be a hog roast sandwich!!

I think the space is such a unique offer for a venue, we have amazing views, woodland area and lake! What more do you need!

It may sound boring...but the wooden flooring! It took us a long time to build but it has made such a difference to the venue.
