It's not fair to pick an individual wedding, each has been so beautiful and unique in its own right! We love to see how each couple transform the space to highlight their own love story.

Enjoy it! Savour every moment and let us deal with the stress :)
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
It's hard to choose - anything that takes real advantage of our space is lovely! We have two grand pianos (one upstairs and one downstairs) that can make for a real romantic backdrop when covered in flowers and photographs of the happy couple. We also love a phone guest book - it looks so cute in our marble and wood feature known as Nell Gwynn's Bath.

Crostini with smoked salmon mousse and house-pickled dill cucumber - it's so delicious!

We absolutely love a dark chocolate pot with salted caramel mousse. It's best served around 10pm to keep up the energy levels on the dance floor.

Our building is filled with unique features! From our original 16th century beams to the bas relief in the Entrance Hall, from the cupola on the first floor to the ornate ceiling panel in the Long Gallery, Lauderdale House hosts a unique combination of both Tudor and Victorian styles and offers a sumptuous blend of historic details and modern comforts.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
We are very proud to be a charity which reinvests the money we make from weddings back into our arts and education programmes and also of our small but mighty Events and Operations team, who make every event at the house so special.
