Exclusively for you and your guests, Lady Grey Farm really is something a little bit different. We think that todays couples are looking for alternatives to the traditional barn.
Something that shows personality. Something that feels like you are going 'out out'.
Don't worry though - we do know that weddings are family occasions and so Mums and Dads, Grandmas and Grandads, Aunties and Uncles will love it too; they can always relax on the comfy seats in the chill out area. We have a ceremony room with exposed brick and beams and two 'getting ready' areas. The main room has a polished copper bar, clever lighting, shiny concrete floors, lots of green plants and dance floor complete with glitter ball!
You decide whether you would like round or trestle tables - we have both. Our cross backed chairs look good too, so there's no need for covers. In fact, if you like chair covers then we are probably not the venue for you!
Our friendly event team will be on hand to look after you on the day as well. You just relax and let us look after you all.

We host only one wedding a week so each couple has time and attention without feeling rushed. From the first meeting Vanessa and Dan have been amazing and very relaxed. You can tell they've been doing this for a long time with their sister venue (Owen House). We were initially concerned out the noise from passing airplanes but it really wasn't a problem. Communication with the Lady Grey team was always very quick. We were initially concerned out the noise from passing airplanes being so close to the airport run way but we didn't notice it all during the ceremony and you cant hear it when you have music playing during you reception drinking, dinner and party. Communication with the Lady Grey team was always very quick and they were happy to answer all the questions we threw at them. The venue has a luxury rustic vibe and we had a couple of hours the day before the wedding day to decorate the venue, Vanessa was on hand to offer her expert advice. They were very thoughtful with how my Dad, who is in a wheelchair moved from the upstairs ceremony room to the reception area downstairs. There is a chair lift on the external stairs and there is a disabled toilet. The bridal getting ready area is huge and is upstairs next to the ceremony room, the groom getting ready room is downstairs and is very cool. The outdoor space went down a treat with our guests, we had lawn games and sunshine. The passing planes were a fun talking point. The team at Lady Grey managed the music through the day as we had given them an iPad with our music downloaded into playlists. I would absolutely recommend this venue for your wedding if you want something a little bit different and rustic, the team were incredible and we had a wonderful wedding day. Tucked away in the beautiful Cheshire countryside, Lady Grey Farm feels like a true hidden gem but it’s surprisingly easy to reach!
By car:
We’re conveniently located just a short drive from major motorway links including the M6 and M56, making travel simple whether you’re coming from Manchester, Liverpool, or beyond. There’s ample on-site parking for all guests, so no need to worry about space.
By train:
The nearest stations are Knutsford and Mobberley, both just a quick taxi ride away from the venue. Direct services run from Manchester and surrounding areas, making it a great option for guests travelling from further afield.
By air:
We’re only around 15 minutes from Manchester Airport, perfect for guests flying in—whether from elsewhere in the UK or internationally.
Taxis & local transport:
We recommend pre-booking taxis, especially for late evening pickups, as availability in rural areas can be limited. We’re happy to suggest trusted local firms if needed.

How many guests can we invite?
Up to 120 of your favourite people! Big enough for a proper celebration, but still intimate enough to feel special.
Will we have the place to ourselves?
Absolutely! It’s exclusively yours for the day. Just you, your loved ones, and plenty of unforgettable moments.
Do you offer indoor or outdoor ceremonies?
We keep things cosy indoors! We don’t host outdoor ceremonies, but our indoor space is just as magical.
What’s included in the venue hire?
All the essentials (and then some!): exclusive use, a dedicated event manager to keep everything running smoothly, plus chairs, tables, glassware, and a selection of lighting and props to set the scene beautifully.

Can we bring our own caterers and suppliers?
We’ve got this covered! We work exclusively with two fantastic caterers, Vanilla In All Seasons and The Cheshire Dining Experience, who know the venue inside out and deliver incredible food every time.
What happens if it rains?
No stress here! Everything is beautifully set up indoors, so the British weather can do its thing while your day stays perfect.
When can we set up and pack down?
One of the perks of Lady Grey is how exclusive we are, we only host Saturday weddings (just 50 a year!). That means you can set up at your own pace on Friday and pack down on Sunday.
Is there parking and easy access?
Yes! We may be tucked away in the countryside, but there’s plenty of space for all your guests, and we’re easily accessible from major motorways—best of both worlds.
