Kingswood House is a 19th-Century, castle-like, grade-II listed mansion in South Dulwich. Kingswood House reopened earlier this year as Kingswood Arts, a community arts centre and creative hub! Kingswood House, aka “Bovril Castle” combines the charm and character of a grand Victorian building, with the versatility of a modern events venue - offering the benefits of both for your special day.
If you are looking for a meaningful and thoughtful way to celebrate your event or wedding, then Kingswood Arts is the best option for you. As a not-for-profit organisation, all proceeds generated from our events go towards providing free classes & activities for young people in the local community, including music, dance, visual arts, and theatre activities, as well as helping to restore this spectacular mansion of British heritage to its original glory. So, by choosing us you are doing a great thing #goodkarmaevents.
The recently renovated ballrooms can host parties of up to 150 guests for dinner plus an additional 150 evening guests. Our ballrooms can also be hired out separately for smaller, more intimate events. Our rooms can be set up according to your type of event and they come with a dedicated events coordinator who will help you organise your special event. Our professional and friendly events team, including a dedicated events coordinator, will be looking after you and your guests on the day, making sure everything runs smoothly. We are happy to recommend suppliers for anything additional you might need to make your event extra special, and we work closely with a fantastic range of in-house caterers. Our rooms are also licensed for civil ceremonies.
