We enjoyed our stay in this great hotel
We enjoyed our stay in this great hotel. It is close to all the shops and the wonderful walk along the Wear River. The staff was outstanding, making us feel welcome upon our arrival. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast in the beautiful breakfast area.

Staff were very welcoming
Staff were very welcoming. Situated in a historic building that has been sympathetically restored. The room was a good size. Amenities were good. Breakfast was nice and a good choice too. Parking good on site too.

A memorable stay
Spent our 50th wedding anniversary there 4th until 8th November with 17 of our friends and family. The staff were most helpful and made provision for a private dinner for us in what was a Council committee room. A memorable stay everything ran smoothly especial thanks to Jane Napper the finance manager

I love this Hotel Indigo, the staff are all wonderful, from check-in to check-out. Love the breakfast and they serve the best porridge I have ever had. Food is lovely too, what more could you want, a total wonderful experience each time.

The hotel was great with friendly staff
The hotel was great with friendly staff, high quality rooms (very clean, and nicely designed), and top level service throughout. The hotel very kindly recognised my birthday - a small touch which made the stay even more memorable.
