Description
Tucked away in the New Forest near Ringwood, The High Corner Inn is a wonderfully relaxed setting for couples who want a wedding celebration that feels personal, warm, and effortlessly memorable. Whether you’re planning an intimate gathering or an upbeat party, our dedicated private space, The Whitmore Room, gives you the best of both worlds: the atmosphere of a country inn, with the ease of a purpose-built event space.
Outside of exclusive hires, The Whitmore Room is ideal for small to medium-sized wedding receptions, seating up to 50 guests or hosting up to 60 standing. It opens directly onto the garden and terrace, perfect for drinks in the fresh air, group photos, and a gentle flow between inside and out. You’ll also enjoy table service from your own private bar and kitchen, so your guests stay together and the day runs smoothly.
We’ll work with you on the details, layouts, menus and timings from relaxed arrival drinks to a heartfelt toast and an evening party your guests will talk about for years.
Make a weekend of it with rooms on site: 7 traditionally decorated boutique ensuite bedrooms, plus 5 cosy Hideout Cabins, a brilliant option for friends, family, and anyone who wants to wake up in the forest after the celebrations.
Food and drink is at the heart of what we do, with locally sourced seasonal dishes and pub classics, alongside award-winning Butcombe beer, cocktails, and a carefully chosen wine list. We’re dog- and child-friendly too, with a large beer garden and a children’s play area, making it easy for everyone to feel welcome.
If you’re looking for a New Forest wedding reception venue with character, comfort, and a truly scenic backdrop, we’d love to help you plan your day at The High Corner Inn.
