"The day was even more perfect than we imagined and we honestly had the best time! Just the fairy tale wedding we were hoping for. We honestly can't stop smiling and reminiscing because it was just amazing. Everything was extremely well organised and everything went extremely smooth. We weren't really sure what to expect but so many people commented on how the day just flowed into one! We would like to say a huge thank you to Patrycia as she always made sure we were okay and checked we had a drink in our hand! She also drove the golf buggy to the first tee and lake so we could have pictures! SPJ were great too! Especially John our toastmaster who again ensured we had everything at every moment. We almost can’t believe it has been 5 weeks this Saturday since we got married and we would like to thank Laura for playing such a huge part in making our wedding day so special. Don’t panic and rush to book anything. It’s the most special day of your lives and you want to make sure your venue is perfect for your day.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

I think it’s the little and personalised details that make the day really special. Be it the couples favourite cocktails as welcome drinks, personalised favours or inviting your guests to provide a song for the DJ. Who doesn’t love cupcakes and a photo halo booth. Remember, it’s your day, so have what you both want.

As Memory Makers, we don't just host events, we make memories. We are proud to to offer personalised service, ensuring all of our couples and their guests feel taken care of both in the planning phase and on the day itself.

What’s your favourite canapé?

Too many to choose from! Maple glazed chipolatas with a grain mustard dip, mini cod and chips, rare roast beef with horseradish, mini Yorkshire puddings and wild mushroom and truffle tart.

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

Chip and dip bar.

What is your venue's most unique feature?

Poles Hall has the incredible chandeliers and vaulted ceilings while Garden Court has the beautiful Summer House and walled gardens.

What part of your business are you most proud of?

Our beautiful grounds and golf course. We also have fantastic teamwork throughout the hotel - I love how the different teams come together to make the events and weddings run smoothly and seeing the event come to life. It's very rewarding!
