My wife and I had an amazing day. The Hall, and surrounding grounds are stunning and it was fantastic to be able to have all our family stay at the hall on the night. The food was delicious and we had lots of complements from the guests. Amanda and the whole wedding team were incredible and so helpful in the lead up to the wedding answering any questions we had, no matter how small. On the day the whole Goldsborough team made everything run so smoothly, we had such a stress free day.My wife and I had an amazing day. The Hall, and surrounding grounds are stunning and it was fantastic to be able to have all our family stay at the hall on the night. The food was delicious and we had lots of complements from the guests. Amanda and the whole wedding team were incredible and so helpful in the lead up to the wedding answering any questions we had, no matter how small. We hired Goldsborough Hall for our wedding and cannot recommend them enough. We were so well looked after, right from the first venue viewing, through the whole process and especially on the big day. Communication was excellent, responsive to every question and 1 step ahead the whole time. The food was amazing, and got compliments from many of our guests. And that's to say nothing of how beautiful the venue is in every season. The entire team is spectacular, and so accommodating to every need. Including the slightly unexpected ones from our 5.5month old. Thank you so so much!We hired Goldsborough Hall for our wedding and cannot recommend them enough. This place is fantastic! From the moment we pulled up outside Goldsborough Hall we knew that we had found a truly magical venue for our wedding reception. The venue itself is a breathtaking house, steeped in history with magnificent grounds, set against a backdrop of beautiful countryside. From our champagne reception on the patio amidst beautiful flowerbeds, to the stunning Orangery where we ate and the panelled library we used during the evening, Goldsborough Hall was the perfect setting. Our assigned wedding coordinator, Amanda, was brilliant. She patiently answered our endless questions, came up with imaginative solutions and helped us to create a day that was truly personal to us. Nothing was too much trouble. She was amazing. Dan, the head chef, took time and meticulous care over our wedding breakfast and was always available to discuss even the smallest details that mattered to us. The wedding breakfast was delicious and seamless with many guests commenting on the high quality of the food and wines. All the staff were friendly, courteous and helped make our day very special. Melanie even managed to get a muddy footprint off my wedding dress train as soon as we arrived with a reassuring smile! Having considered alternative venues before finding Goldsborough, we were very impressed by the package that Goldborough offered us, including the use of all sixteen beautiful bedrooms for some of our guests. The entire place was ours. Thank you to everyone at Goldsborough Hall who contributed to what was for us the perfect day. We would absolutely recommend this venue! We cannot thank the entire team at Goldsborough Hall enough for making our wedding day so special, truly a day we will never forget ❤️ From our very first meeting, we knew Goldsborough was the perfect venue. Alison immediately put us at ease, always on hand to answer questions and guiding us through the process with such professionalism and warmth. The whole team’s experience really shone through in every detail, from the planning support, to setting up for the big day, the delicious food and ensuring every guest was looked after from morning to evening. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, like our menu tasting evening and making sure the bride and groom had canapés and a drink after the ceremony while photos were being taken! We loved having the option of a relaxed meal with close family and friends the night before, and the special arrangements for the bridal party on the morning of the wedding made everything feel even more memorable. Our guests have all commented on what a wonderful day it was, from being such a beautiful place, the atmosphere, the food, and the great service. I had my wedding day at Goldsborough Hall on August 10th 2025 and I honestly can not thank and praise the wedding team and venue enough. The day was faultless, they organised everything and I had absolutely NOTHING to worry about the morning of my wedding. Our guests were blown away by the beauty of the venue but also the service and attention to detail all provided by the team. The food was delicious and everyone who had a room at the hall (included with the price of the wedding!!!) commented how clean and gorgeous they were too. Building up to the day the wedding team couldn’t do enough to make us feel ready and excited. We had a tour when we booked, had another tour for our parents and a wedding prep meeting a month before where they outlined everything that would happen on the day. I had some nerves the night before and they were even there then to calm and reassure me the day would be amazing, and it was. The team are experienced, caring and the loveliest people who made our wedding day perfect. I can not recommend this stunning venue enough. The weddings team are simply the nicest and most helpful people I’ve come across. I picked this venue not just because of how grand it is and it’s beautiful grounds, I was drawn to the warmness of the weddings team, they go above and beyond, responding to all of my needs with absolutely no issues. Alison, saw to all of my needs and when I saw her face on the day, my nerves instantly calmed! The venue is just so beautiful, rooms are large and extremely grand and luxurious. The food was extremely tasty and presented beautifully. The breakfast the following morning was gorgeous, having a choice from a menu made it more special. All guests commented on what a beautiful day it was the venue and food was exceptional, as was the wedding team who brought it all together. The whole experience was just brilliant. Alison and Amanda worked so hard to make sure our wedding ran smoothly as well as every member of staff being so happy and friendly on the day.
