Our aim at Glencorse House is to give you a completely exclusive country wedding venue and personal service far removed from the usual wedding package – our overriding wish being that every aspect of your wedding day is as special and memorable as possible. Your wedding reception will take place in a beautiful marquee on one of the lawns adjoining Glencorse House – this is tastefully lined and furnished and has a feature bay window and solid wooden floor. Glencorse House is offered on a completely exclusive basis.

Glencorse House - Best Day Ever! Glencorse House - Best Day Ever!
Where do we begin? We fell in love with the Old Kirk as soon as we saw it and it certainly didn’t disappoint on our wedding day! From start to finish, Glencorse House was the most stunning, perfect venue and we have absolutely no regrets about choosing it for our wedding. Kelly took over as our wedding coordinator while we were planning our big day and she was absolutely fantastic. She always responded quickly, clearly answered my hundreds of questions, and made the whole planning process feel so much easier. On the day itself, she was calm, reassuring and organised, ensuring everything ran seamlessly while making us and our guests feel completely looked after. The venue itself is simply breathtaking. The Old Kirk is so atmospheric and was the most beautiful place to say “I do”. We were able to access the marquee the day before to set up our tables, and Alasdair, the owner, was always nearby if we needed anything. Alasdair was a pleasure to work with throughout the process. He was approachable, flexible and always happy to help. The onsite accommodation was another huge bonus, and we’d highly recommend booking the cottage and pods for your guest - they made the whole weekend even more special. We also had a change of caterers during the planning process, but Saltire were excellent on the day. The food was outstanding and so many of our guests commented that it was one of the best wedding meals they’d ever had. Overall, choosing Glencorse House was one of the best decisions we made. Alasdair and Kelly make an incredible team, nothing is ever too much trouble, and they genuinely care about making your day everything you’ve dreamed of! My husband and I were coming to Edinburgh from the US, but we had no venue to have our vow renewal. I am a true blue outlander fan and on a whim I emailed the Glencorse House to if that day was available and it was!! From the very beginning Kelly and Alastair were nothing short of perfect. Truly. They are the most kindest and thoughtful souls. They had it all set up for me and my family and assisted us on our day. To be able to have something you will never forget at a historical venue is beautiful. If you are even considering contact them you WILL NOT regret having your special day here. The grounds are breathtaking and so many photography spots. We can not ever thank Glencorse House enough. Firstly, What a sublime venue. I’ve attended a family wedding as well as a friends wedding at Glencorse. The experience was absolutely first class. From initial introductions for the family wedding with the Glencorse team, to the moment we left. No matter what we requested, nothing was ever an issue, in fact Alasdair, Sarah, Paul and the team went above and beyond to accommodate us. The Kirk is just sublime and totally unique, it really set the scene for the family and guests. Firstly, What a sublime venue. I’ve attended a family wedding as well as a friends wedding at Glencorse. The experience was absolutely first class. From initial introductions for the family wedding with the Glencorse team, to the moment we left. We got married at Glencorse House last weekend and had the best day! The Kirk was a truly stunning venue for our ceremony and the marquee and surroundings were a beautiful backdrop for the reception. Sarah, the wedding coordinator set up all our decorations for us, reducing stress levels in the days leading up to the Big Day. She was also amazing on the day at overseeing everything! Blackberry Cuisine, their exclusive caterer was also fantastic. We got married at Glencorse House last weekend and had the best day! The Kirk was a truly stunning venue for our ceremony and the marquee and surroundings were a beautiful backdrop for the reception. Sarah, the wedding coordinator set up all our decorations for us, reducing stress levels in the days leading up to the Big Day. She was also amazing on the day at overseeing everything!
