Newhall Estate is a beautiful country house wedding venue rich in history, character and charm. Hosting only a limited number of weddings each year, the Estate is exclusively yours, allowing couples to create a truly personal celebration.

With two nights’ exclusive use included, your wedding becomes a relaxed countryside stay with your favourite people — giving you time to celebrate, unwind and enjoy the Estate together.

Choose from four unique ceremony locations across the Estate:

The Sunroom – elegant and filled with natural light
The Granary – rustic charm in a beautifully restored space
The Lawn – a tranquil outdoor ceremony setting
The Walled Garden – romantic and surrounded by nature

For your evening celebration, select from two reception spaces, including an atmospheric outdoor setting with a fire pit and Nordic tipi.

Newhall welcomes weddings from 2 guests up to 150, with no minimum guest number requirement, making it perfect for both intimate celebrations and larger gatherings.

Accommodation

Your stay includes two nights’ accommodation for up to 30 guests within the Estate. Additional rooms are available, allowing accommodation for up to 41 guests in total for an additional fee.

This creates a relaxed house-party atmosphere where your closest friends and family can stay on site and celebrate with you throughout your wedding stay.

Venue hire pricing depends on the year you wish to get married, the season, and the day of the week. All venue hire packages offer exclusive use of Newhall Estate for two nights, including full use of the mansion house and estate grounds. Accommodation Accommodation for up to 30 guests is included within the main house. If you require additional accommodation, we also have three cottages available to hire for an additional fee, increasing the total onsite accommodation capacity to 41 guests. Choosing Newhall Estate was the best decision we made for our wedding; We couldn't have picked a more magical venue. The grounds are stunning beautiful, providing the perfect backdrop for our day. From the very moment of our arrival, the hospitality was exceptional. Abi and the staff took complete care of us, making sure every single detail was envisioned and executed flawless. We didn't have to worry about a thing, and Abi's dedication made our day far more special then we imagined possible. Choosing Newhall Estate was the best decision we made for our wedding; We couldn't have picked a more magical venue. The grounds are stunning beautiful, providing the perfect backdrop for our day. Stunning!Stunning!
We got married at Newhall in May 2026. Newhall is a stunning venue and the staff are amazing. Newhall is definitely a hidden gem. The venue is beautiful. There are a choice of event spaces which are all lovely and they all offer different things. The house is also an excellent place to stay with your friends and family which extends your wedding weekend which we found very special! The grounds are also amazing which is lovely for photos. This sentiment was echoed by all of our guests. The Newhall staff are all amazing and look to make sure your day goes smoothly! They worked through all of our planning to help make the day we wanted all come together. They were always there to help us do anything we needed or to make sure everyone knew where/when things were happening. On our wedding day there was no running around for us and we could enjoy our day! All of our guests commented on the lovely helpful staff too. The whole weekend format that Newhall takes is excellent! Our wedding day passed so quickly which made staying with our close family and friends over the weekend extra special. It allowed us the time to see them all properly. The Friday was lovely to come in and setup all of our decorations and see that the venue is setup the way we wanted for the big day! We had the most amazing wedding day at Newhall! Everything was absolutely perfect and we are so glad we chose it as our wedding venue. The day itself was incredible and all of our guests commented on how stunning the venue is. A huge thank you to Yvonne and the entire Newhall team. From our very first visit, to showing parents around after we booked, countless emails with far too many questions and even having to rearrange our final meeting multiple times, Yvonne was an absolute dream to work with. Nothing was ever too much trouble. On the day itself, knowing everything was so completely in hand meant we could truly relax and take a step back from worrying about every detail. Thank you for making the whole process feel so easy and for helping to create such a special, unforgettable day.We had the most amazing wedding day at Newhall! Yvonne and the team at Newhall Estate were just amazing with my husband and I through our whole journey. We visited the venue and felt welcome, and fell inlove with the place. Yvonne was patient and answered all our questions. The house and the grounds are just gorgeous. When we booked in our date, we were always able to be in touch, and even got walk arounds a few times before to show my inlaws who live away the venue. Nothing was too much to ask, and they even assisted us with special laundry due to skin conditions of our guests. The day went so smooth thanks to Yvonnes help and the team. If anything was an issue i didnt know and just enjoyed the best day of my life. On the sunday we also had a BBQ with guests and there was staff onsite helping clean up and support anything we needed. Cannot thank them enough or reccommend them enough! Was a home from home (if we lived in a beautiful mansion!). Sad its all over! The communication in the 18 months in between was second to none. We fell in love with Newhall as soon as we saw it and so many guests commented that it was the best wedding venue they’d ever been to. A true hidden gem that gave us everything we dreamed our wedding would be with everything on site and lots of different areas to make your day unique and make the most of the stunning grounds which provided the most idyllic photo opportunities. The staff are what tops everything off as nothing was a bother and you couldn’t ask for a more helpful and friendly bunch of people to spend your wedding with. They felt more like friends to us in their lovely and calming presence and ongoing banter whilst maintaining the professionalism to ensure our wedding ran smoothly. They had every eventuality covered so we knew if anything went wrong, we had absolute confidence that they’d know how to fix it. As two Americans looking to break from the norm and have a small, dream wedding, Newhall was the perfect place for us. Not only was booking the entire estate for a weekend way more affordable than other similar locations, but the estate itself took our breath away with its wooded paths, walled garden, brooks and meadows galore. That being said, the best part about booking with Newhall was the staff that made each and every single step easy and supported us the entire time. We didn’t hire a planner, but the staff had so many resources for us to help us plan our big celebration from across the Atlantic. Once we were on the grounds, they welcomed us with warmth and were so generous that my wife and I can hardly believe such a kind group of people were making our dreams come true. The weekend itself went better than either of us could have ever dreamed, and would we have to do it over we would pick Newhall in a heartbeat. Best venue for a wedding! Best venue for a wedding!
The best venue to have your wedding. You have the whole estate to yourselves for the whole weekend and it’s such a relaxed atmosphere. From being with all your friends and family on the Friday to relax before the big day on the Saturday where everything ran smoothly and the staff at Newhall were fantastic! I never felt rushed on the wedding day and it was tailored to how myself and my husband wanted it and not how the venue wanted it. Also being able to choose from 3 different places to have your ceremony is perfect! Would highly recommend Newhall to anyone to have their wedding here!The best venue to have your wedding. You have the whole estate to yourselves for the whole weekend and it’s such a relaxed atmosphere. From being with all your friends and family on the Friday to relax before the big day on the Saturday where everything ran smoothly and the staff at Newhall were fantastic! Coming all the way from the Netherlands, we were looking for the ultimate Scottish wedding experience to share with our guests. We honestly couldn't have found a more magical wedding location for our special day! We had goosebumps with Newhall Estate from the very beginning. The whole team were just incredible! Everyone was so extremely helpful and kind, they got us so very excited about the possibilities for our special day. They truly go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and prepared, and act with such enthusiasm and professionalism, accommodating our every wish. Our wedding day in May was surprisingly sunny, and so the ceremony was one of the first to be held outside in the stunning walled gardens on the Estate. Nothing could have been more perfect! Pulling out the garden games no less, a test for the 'true Scotsman,' jumbo Jenga, cigars, whiskey, and all that excitement and more... What an incredible day, what an incredible weekend! Overall, we would 100% recommend this venue to anyone excited to get married in Scotland. Newhall Estate has such a unique charm and it’s comforting, and cosy atmosphere created a beautiful vibe and location to host a wedding. Newhall is absolutely superb. From the first contact the team are absolutely incredible and nothing is too much hassle. They are so supportive all the way through the planning and then incredible on the day and days surrounding. The venue itself is stunning and so versatile, there’s multiple options for ceremony, drinks, dancing and the spaces are amazing. All of the accommodation rooms are so nice and comfortable and our guests love it. We had the best weekend and couldn’t recommend it enough! Newhall is absolutely superb. Does the Wedding Package include accommodation?

Yes, a 2 night stay is included in the wedding package at Newhall Estate. The house sleeps 30 people, in 16 bedrooms. You can also add onto the package three cottages, taking the total number of guests on site to 41.

I want my dog to be a ring-bearer, can they come along too?

At Newhall Estate, we believe your wedding day should include everyone you love — your furry friends included. Our dog-friendly venue offers enchanting walks and adventures through the glen and woodland. Thinking of having your dog as a Ring Bearer we completely approve; just let us know and we’ll make sure they’re part of your celebrations!

There is a small surcharge per dog (3 max).

Can I get married outdoors?

At Newhall, you can opt to be in the Walled Garden, surrounded by seasonal colour and natural beauty, an outdoor ceremony in a truly romantic setting or the Sundial Lawn with open skies and sweeping views over the glen, with the sundial at the centre - perfect for couples wanting a relaxed outdoor celebration with a sense of space and scenery. Our outdoor spaces can accommodate up to 150 of your friends and family.

What is included in the wedding package?

In addition to the accommodation and the exclusive use of the estate, our wedding package also includes onsite event managers, registry signing table, bar furniture, fairy decoration lights, coloured uplighters, Chiavari chairs, round & trestles tables, PA system, easels, lawn games, tipi and firepit and the Newhall sword for cake cutting.

How many guests can you host at an indoor wedding ceremony?

If an indoor wedding ceremony is your dream; then you have the choice of the Sunroom, flooded with natural light, offering all the beauty and feel of an outdoor ceremony with the comfort and security of being indoors; you don’t even need to step outside to say, “I do”. This beautiful space can host up to 100 guests.

The Granary: a chapel-inspired, barn space with a long aisle and timeless character, perfect traditional-feeling ceremony in front of 150 of your loved ones. With four unique ceremony spaces, you can choose the setting that feels most like you and create a wedding day that’s completely your own.

Can buses access the estate?
