Dalmahoy Hotel and Country Club is a wedding venue situated in Edinburgh, Lothian & Borders. The beautiful Georgian Baronial Manor is set on a thousand acres of parkland. For those wanting to wed away from the noise of the big city, this property is the ideal setting for one of the most important days of your life.
Facilities and Capacity
Ceremonies at Dalmahoy Hotel and Country Club can take place at St. Mary's Church. Dating back to 1850, this elegant church is great for those wanting a traditional ceremony in the presence of God. Alternatively, you can tie the knot on the outside grounds. Surrounded by botanical gardens and loved ones, you can exchange vows in a natural environment. Once it's official, the gardens and surrounding grounds make for wonderful photo opportunities and drink receptions. Here, you can take photos, mingle with guests, and watch as the sun sets on your magical day. Reception can then follow in the Dalmahoy function suite. This room can hold up to 250 people and has plenty of space for seated guests, a dance floor, and a live band or DJ.

This country club offers a range of suits that elegantly blend modern comfort as well as 18th-century decor. All suites include en-suite bathrooms and everything you need for a great night's sleep.

It is in a great location with a historic exterior
Our wedding reception at the Dalmahoy was just fabulous! It is in a great location with a historic exterior for photos but all the modern facilities needed for a great wedding. All Dalmahoy colleagues were really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. A lot of our guests commented on the high standard of the food and how good it was. Special mention to our wedding coordinator Jordan who made everything run like clockwork on the day and to our evening manager who looked after every.last.detail

It all went by without a hitch!
The countryside manor setting was exactly what we had in mind, and the number packages available at the Dalmahoy made it the easy choice. Our wedding day was great! The organisation was brilliant all round and someone was always on hand to help. It was pretty much stress free from start to finish as everything was sorted for us. The venue looked great and everyone was organised as we had planned. All our guests were very complimentary of the venue and staff. It all went by without a hitch!

Imagine a wedding with no panics , stress or worries - the Dalmahoy and its staff provided us with the most perfect worry free day. Everything was on time to the minute. They catered to every request and adapted to every scenario. The whole event from ceremony to wedding breakfast and after party was so well planned and thought of - with excellent service on the day that we could simply enjoy the most special day of our lives. The catering was outstanding. Every guest commented on the quality!

It’s the best catering we have eaten at a wedding!
Overall we had an amazing day at the Dalmahoy! The staff were all friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed our weekend. The rooms we stayed in were lovely and we felt really special. We felt at ease as everything just seemed to happen and was all taken care of. Jordan was amazing, due to the wedding being postponed four times she was our fourth coordinator and she picked up the event (and the slightly deflated bride and groom) and really ensured we had a great day!
