The house and grounds are exclusively yours for your magical wedding day, to enjoy your celebrations with family and friends.
Host your dream wedding in one beautiful location, nestled behind the Manor House is our 18th Century Walled Garden, filled with flowers & ancient apple trees and home to the very pretty Summer House & Secret Garden, the perfect location for your civil ceremony any time of the year. Whilst you are spoilt for choice for your outdoor wedding, with a choice of 7 different licensed areas around the gardens and grounds. including the front lawns, walled garden, the vista, the rookery and the Grecian folly.
After your ceremony, it's time for celebration drinks & canapé's with your guests on the lawns.
Our beautiful lotus marquee, located next to the rookery, with spectacular views across the heritage coast, is just perfect for your wedding breakfast and evening celebrations. Seating 140 dinner guests and hosting up to 200 for your evening celebrations, our bespoke marquee with chic design is both elegant and functional with a white blank canvas, it provides a sophisticated backdrop ready for you to style your wedding your way.
For you & your guests our luxury accommodation is the perfect retreat, with 8 luxury self-contained guest accommodation suites and 7 bespoke designed luxury ensuite bedrooms within the Manor House, making 15 bedrooms in total, sleeping 40 of your guests.

We had the absolute best show around with the fabulous Lorraine yesterday. We were emotional wrecks leaving there (in a good way) it was like all your dreams came true in one fell swoop. It's perfect and Lorraine just brought every vision to life.

Wonderful tour of the grounds of Gileston Manor
Recently enjoyed a wonderful tour of the grounds of Gileston Manor with Head Gardener, Jack. The gardens are stunning, clearly demonstrating the hard work and dedication of everyone involved in bringing the neglected manor and grounds back to its former glory. I thoroughly recommend a visit whether it’s for afternoon tea, a luxury break or a garden tour. You won’t be disappointed.

Our Dream Wedding
Everything about our wedding was simply spectacular. Gileston Manor was the last venue we viewed and we were instantly bowled over. The grounds are beautiful, the accommodation is spectacular and most importantly the people are lovely. Lorraine who owns it is one of the nicest people we have come across. Even though it’s her own home she does nothing short of making sure everyone else feels like it’s their home too.
We hired the venue for the weekend as we had a lot of guests travelling a long way and it was so worth it. The grounds are so beautiful and there are so many parts to it for guests to find and explore.
Thank you to everyone at Gileston Manor for making our very large wedding run flawlessly!

Gileston Manor made our wedding dream a reality!
When we started planning our wedding we envisaged something ethereal and dreamy and knew that we wanted our day to be filled with flowers and to feel like a summer romance.
From the very first site visit we had at Gileston Manor we knew that it was the perfect venue for us.
Gileston Manor sits perfectly in a sleepy village, overlooking the beautiful coast, with pristine grounds and more love nooks and quiet hide away spots than you can count.
We had a large wedding with all our family and friends and the team couldn’t have been more accommodating.
Wendy helped us to plan our day exactly how we’d envisaged and oversaw the whole day to make sure it was all how we had wanted.
When the weather changed the week of the wedding and we were facing the hottest day of the year, the team at Gileston were already prepared, moving our ceremony outdoors and ensuring that all our guests were well looked after.
We stayed in the accommodation on site the night before and the night of our wedding and each and every single room in both the Manor House and the converted barns were curated perfectly with all our guests having a perfect 5 star stay.
Our experience with Gileston Manor was unparalleled, immaculate and perfect in every way. An incredible venue, a team that makes you feel like family and a dream that came true.

We have too many beautiful weddings to mention just one, whether it's the groom coming in by helicopter, celebrity guests at weddings or even celebrity couples getting married, beautiful flowers, outdoor ceremonies and lots of surprises for guests, every wedding is the best wedding.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Your wedding should reflect you as a couple, there's so many influences out there it's easy to lose your way. Stay focused, it's your wedding day!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
A large beautiful glass jar which guests wrote down their wishes for the happy couple, the jar wasn't to be smashed open until the couples 10 year anniversary to find out if all the wonderful wishes came true!

You are literally spoilt for choice for photo spots - with a choice of unique gardens, 180 degree sea views and the beautiful backdrop of the Grade 11* listed Georgian Manor House, you'll feel like you're in Italy or France!
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We've had so many we feel very privileged to have met so many well known guests, but the icing on the cake is that the fabulous David Emanuel (Princess Diana's wedding dress designer) is in the family!
What’s your favourite canapé?
Mini Yorkshire pudding with roast beef and a hint of horseradish, yum!!!
or if your veggie try a deep fried risotto ball also very yum!!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
A cheese grazing table, with a delicious array of cheese, chutneys, breads, and fruit. Or if you prefer something a little more hot and greasy try a hog roast!!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
There are too many to choose from! The showstopper is definitely the Manor House, but then our guests always fall in love with our gardens and our incredible location because of the breath-taking panoramic sea views...
