Folklore Hoxton

We had part of our wedding reception at Folklore and it was brilliant! A special place with a lovely, cosy atmosphere and extremely accommodating and helpful staff. Very happy to have found it!

WE LOVE FOLKLORE! Can't recommend this spot enough, a wonderful gem in Hoxton where we hosted our wedding party of about 50-60 people (after a delicious meal across the street at Morito). Firstly, the team is lovely and are not only there to ensure your night goes great but they also seem to be having the best time doing it. The space is intimate and eclectic, full of treasures in every corner of the cosy venue (at least, any corner not already taken up by some lovingly-cared-for plants). The sound system and audio set up is great, ready to pump up the party vibes, with the thankful addition of AC to keep you cool on the dance floor. Lastly, what other venue has its own resident cat that wants nothing more than to chill on the decks when the bass gets low? Our night here ended with the party stragglers dancing on the table with Folklore staff, while playing random percussion instruments. Cherry on top of a perfect day.

We had a wedding party here, and it was so great! If you're looking for something special and unusual, it's a perfect choice. The team were so lovely and helpful in arranging everything. It's the type of place that makes London great :)
