Welcome to Findon Place, a privately owned country estate nestled in the South Downs National Park at Findon, West Sussex. Tucked quietly down a private drive this Grade II* Georgian jewel is surrounded by manicured lawns and gardens, abundant floral borders with views over majestic parkland and Cissbury Ring. With five guest bedrooms, swimming pool and tennis court, the entire estate is available for exclusive use for weddings. There are multiple spaces available for licensed weddings including our elegant Ballroom, the Hall or our majestic Cedar Garden. Effortlessly elegant and charming the house and gardens await you and your guests.

What an incredible time we have had. One of my bridesmaid's said to me that there is something magical about this place and she is so right. We could not be luckier that we got to get married here. Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. We felt so well looked after, so supported and so at home - all at the same time. From the first look I know it was special and how right I was. It was the most incredible start to married life and we are forever thankful.What an incredible time we have had. Our post code is BN14 0RF. How to get here: By Road: Findon Places lies directly off the A24 on a private driveway shared with Findon Parish Church. Please follow signs to Findon Parish Church and use the first driveway entrance on the left hand side for parking, the second for deliveries and the third - Main Entrance - for visiting and disabled parking. By Rail: Our nearest railway stations are West Worthing or Goring by Sea both of which have taxi services and are approximately 10 minutes drive. By Bus: Findon Place has a bus stop directly outside it’s gates on the A24 - route 23 between Crawley and Worthing or in Findon Village which is a few minutes walk away route no 1 between Worthing and Midhurst.

Can we use our own caterer?

Findon Place has long been associated with good taste, good times and good people. Like the house, our list of preferred suppliers has plenty of experience. They are all friendly, creative and consummate professionals. Part of the ethos of the house is to recommend companies that are based within a small radius so that we support local and source sustainably. We are happy for you to use your choice of caterer as long as we have a copy of their insurance and they conduct a site visit to understand the limitations they might find here.

Do you allow fireworks, sky lanterns or sparklers?

As we are located in the South Downs National Park, part of the Dark Skies initiative, and surrounded by farmland, we do not allow fireworks or sky lanterns. Sparklers, outside and well-managed away from the building, are permitted.

What about naked flames?

If you'd like to use candles during your celebration, they must be in an enclosed vessel, such as a nightlight holder or lantern.

Can we provide our own alcohol?

Yes! We are happy to help you source local award-winning English Sparkling wine to help celebrate whatever the occasion. There is no corkage on your wedding day so you may provide whatever you choose. If you choose to celebrate with us over a weekend and host additional events such as a welcome dinner on the Friday or a pool part on the Sunday then corkage does apply. Corkage is charged at £15 plus VAT per adult guest.

Do you have accommodation?

Yes! Findon Place can comfortably accommodate ten guests in our super comfortable and beautiful guest bedrooms, including the Best Bedroom Suite for the guests of honour!

What are the capacities for licensed weddings in the different areas?

We are licenced for two spaces inside: The Hall, which is 72, and The Ballroom, which is 120. The garden has three licenced areas: The Cedar Garden 120, The Great Lawn 120 and the Croquet Lawn 120.
