Farbridge

Farbridge was the very first wedding venue we visited when we began our search back in January 2022, and from the moment we arrived and stepped inside the Lavant Barn we knew it was the place we wanted to get married. The setting is absolutely stunning. We both love the countryside and being outdoors and we instantly fell in love with Farbridge, which is set against the backdrop of the South Downs, surrounded by fields, country lanes, and even a river. The interior is equally as beautiful. We particularly liked that Farbridge has a light, airy, modern feel. Although we loved the rural setting, we also wanted our wedding day to feel quite elegant, and the beautiful barns really deliver on that. Not only is it a beautiful location, but the staff at Farbridge are incredible. Every single person that we’ve come into contact with at Farbridge over the last couple of years has been so friendly, kind, and professional. Imogen showed us around at our first visit, answered all of our questions, and really helped us to envision our wedding day. Julie, Ells, and Ellie made us feel at home when we came back for visits with family, attended the wedding fayre, and the food tasing event. And Grace, our brilliant wedding account manager, looked after us leading up to our wedding day and then oversaw everything to perfection. Nothing was too much trouble for her, and she always replied promptly to emails and enquiries. Grace ensured that our wedding day ran smoothly and that all of our personal touches and decorations were set up for us – and looked even better than when we’d done it! She even told us where to cut the cake, and gave us advice on aspects of our wedding planning. I didn’t once look at the time or worry about anything on our wedding day as we had full trust in Grace and the team. Everything was executed with military precision, down to the exquisite menu produced and delivered by the inhouse catering team, Cuckoo. Our guests have been raving about the menu ever since our wedding day, and we’ve heard multiple times that it’s the best food they’ve been served at a wedding. Farbridge is a popular wedding venue – and for good reason! – but we never once felt as though our wedding was simply one of many. The care and attention we were shown was exemplary and we want to say a heartfelt thank you to Grace and the rest of the team for everything they did for us. We cannot recommend this special venue enough.

We got married at Farbridge on 25-5-24 and the whole day was just perfect from start to finish. We fell in love with the venue from the moment Julie showed us around. The two years leading up to the wedding, we had Eleanor looking after us who just took care of any little worry we had, gave us honest advice and opinions and took into account our budget and wishes. We never felt any pressure from her. I organised all the decor myself and Eleanor smashed it when setting it up on the morning, every detail was thought about. Throughout the day they ensured the day ran smoothly and we genuinely didn’t have to worry about anything, I can’t stress enough how amazing the team are. The food was unreal and we received many compliments about it being the best wedding meal they’d ever eaten! Every details was just perfect and we owe the hugest thanks to the whole Farbridge team. Having rooms onsite was amazing too. I could shout all day long about Farbridge but to sum it up the venue is just stunning and the staff exceptional! Thank you will never be enough for the best day ever! Highly recommend!

We had the best day getting married at Farbridge and right from viewing the venue to the day Ells and the team were so helpful, friendly and always going the extra mile. They are always on hand for any and all of your questions. They run the day so smoothly, we didn't have to think of anything but they made us aware of anything going on and checked in. They took all the stress away with ensuring our decorations were done and our families were happy. Couldn't have wished for a better day and the coordination from Ells made it all so stress free.

We were looking for a venue in the countryside, with some accommodation, the option of providing our own drinks, excellent catering, a gorgeous bridal suite and that 'feeling'. Farbridge has it all. It was always the only place for us. Eleanor handled our account beautifully, helping you to think about all the questions you need to answer. As much as possible, whatever you need will be provided for. Very professional. The space and service is outstanding.

The best of our life!! Everything was perfect from start to finish and was everything we had ever dreamed off. Farbridge was the only venue we ever went to see and we fell in love with it as soon as we saw it. We could picture our perfect day there and it was everything we ever wanted, Eleanor and the team were amazing from the day we visited even until after the wedding making sure we knew exactly everything, giving us all options and making sure we knew every little detail. Myself and Liam couldn’t thank everyone at Farbridge enough for giving us the most perfect day and all their hard work that went into the day. It really was a fairy tail wedding! We cannot recommend Farbridge highly enough. From viewing the venue to our wedding day and everything in between, they have been truly amazing. We had the most incredible day and everyone we have spoken to thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The food was delicious and the venue stunning, it was absolutely perfect. We cannot thank you enough for helping us make these special memories with our family and friends.

From the very first viewing, to every one since. The taster nights and finally the big day, just fantastic. Truly incredible. We had the pleasure of working with Imogen. What an asset she is at Farbridge! I was an extremely anxious bride who unfortunately is always sick when I’m anxious. But Imogen went above and beyond to make me comfortable, feel safe and put extra measures in place to take the pressure off of me. We created a plan A, B, C & D for if any part of it got too much. But I didn’t need to, I smashed it and Imogen was very proud! Every idea we created in our head was executed beautifully. The service 10/10, venue 10/10 staff 10/10 food 10/10. Now we wish we could do it all over again! Thank you again Farbridge!

Our wedding day was perfect and so much of that is down to Farbridge. Our wedding fell on the hottest September day on record (!!) but the entire team were all so brilliant at catering for everyone’s needs and helping things run so smoothly. The team go above and beyond; Eleanor was brilliant at keeping us on track and Julie saved the day by making an extra buttonhole when one was missing! Simon and the entire catering team are exceptional. We had sooo many compliments on the food and everyone was very impressed with the quality and portion sizes! We both had the perfect day and feel so glad we booked Farbridge - we can’t recommend them highly enough. Wish we could come back every year!!! X

My husband(!) and I got married here in September and had the most perfect day. It's not surprising this beautiful venue, and the amazing team behind it, have won awards. It really is everything you hope for in a wedding venue, and more! Ells, was so friendly and professional - we couldn't have wished for a better person to help with the planning in the lead up to our special day. We always looked forward to our meetings with her and communication was brilliant right from the start.

Ever since myself and Martin got engaged there was never any doubt in my mind that the wedding had to be at Farbridge. The beautiful venue and scenery is really what pulled us in. Once we started our wedding journey with Imogen, our wedding planner who is utterly exceptional, her attention to detail was impeccable, nothing was too much trouble leading up to the day. We felt so comfortable being looked after by her, but when the day came around she completely and utterly blew us off our feet and exceeded our expectations. She completely and utterly made our day magical, stress free, she even went above and beyond and was holding our 3 month old. If we were to get married again I would choose Farbridge and Imogen three times over. I still regularly think about the day, everything was pure perfection, the food was absolutely delicious, the rooms were amazing and the bridal suite was the perfect location for getting ready. On the day my husband and I were so busy we didn’t get to eat our desserts. Imogen kept our desserts and placed them in our bridal suite as a late night treat. This was so thoughtful and a really lovely touch. We cannot thank the venue, the kitchen and bar team and Imogen enough for making our day so magical. Thank you
