Located just 6 miles from the picturesque fishing town of Whitby, we provide a private, secluded and romantic setting for intimate weddings through to celebratory gatherings for up to 160. Egton Manor provides the most beautiful option for couples seeking a countryside getaway in a discreet, private, countryside and riverside location, with plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the great outdoors. The Manor is one of North Yorkshires most magical, hidden gems, located in the heart of the North York Moors National Parks. We have invested a huge amount of love and passion into restoring the buildings that surround the main family home and as a result, are now able to host small, intimate weddings through to gatherings of up to 160. For those looking to hold their ceremony in church, the Catholic Church of St Hedda is located opposite Egton Manor and just a two minute drive up the hill towards Egton village, you will find St Hilda’s Church of England. We want to ensure that your experience at Egton Manor is the best and most enjoyable it possibly can be. On the day of your wedding, we will provide you with a dedicated venue coordinator who will look after you, your guests and the Estate. Our coordinator will be in touch with you 8 weeks prior to your wedding day, to run through timings, suppliers and all the final details, but you can of course contact them at any time with any queries you might have.
