In spring and summer, the estate is framed by flourishing gardens and vibrant greenery, with the lawns and grounds providing a naturally beautiful backdrop for outdoor ceremonies and drinks receptions. During the warmer months, couples and guests can also make the most of outdoor spaces and activities across the estate, adding to the relaxed countryside feel of the day.

As the seasons progress into autumn, the surrounding woodland becomes rich with colour, creating a warm and atmospheric setting across the estate. In winter, the Hall feels especially inviting, with open fires in the main house creating a cosy and welcoming atmosphere, alongside the warmth of the log burner and character of the Linden Tree Pub for guests to enjoy. Its Georgian architecture, sweeping grounds and period features reflect its rich heritage, originally shaped under Sir Charles William Bigge, whose vision helped establish its sense of elegance and stature. The striking entrance pillars offer a dramatic frame for arrival shots, while the warm stone exterior of the building photographs beautifully in natural light, often taking on a soft glow as the day moves into the evening.

Beyond the house, 450 acres of parkland and woodland provide a variety of settings, from open lawns and landscaped gardens to more secluded, atmospheric spots among the trees. This allows for both grand, cinematic imagery and more natural, intimate moments. The changing light throughout the day further enhances the variety of photographs, ensuring each wedding is captured in a way that feels unique to every couple.

With elegant ceremony and reception spaces, 50 bedrooms, spa facilities, an 18-hole golf course and on-site dining, the estate is designed so guests can relax, celebrate and stay together without the need to travel elsewhere. It creates a complete countryside retreat where the entire wedding experience unfolds in one setting.

We regularly host weddings that reflect a wide range of cultures, traditions and personal styles. Our flexible spaces and experienced team allow us to tailor each celebration to the couple’s individual requirements, ensuring every wedding feels authentic, respectful and seamlessly delivered.

In certain circumstances, we also offer the venue on a dry hire basis, allowing couples to appoint their own specialist or self-catering caterers where preferred, particularly where cultural or bespoke dining requirements are best delivered by an external team. This flexibility ensures each celebration can be realised exactly as the couple envisage, without compromise.
