Whether you are planning a relaxed celebration with your closest family or a full day and evening party with up to 180 guests, our venue gives you the freedom to shape your day your way. Set in the village of Broughton, our manor house offers a picture perfect backdrop in every season. Mature trees, manicured lawns, courtyard spaces, and charming period features create beautiful opportunities for photographs, while our modern event spaces give you all the comfort and flexibility you need for the perfect celebration.
We are licensed for civil ceremonies and partnerships, with a choice of spaces to suit your style and guest numbers. The Orangery is perfect for intimate ceremonies of up to 40 guests, filled with natural daylight and neutral decor. The Garden Room offers views across the lawns for up to 50 guests, while the magnificent Broughton Suite provides a grand setting with high ceilings and space for up to 180 guests. Couples can also choose to say their vows outdoors on our beautiful lawn.
After the ceremony, enjoy drinks and canapés in the courtyard or gardens before sitting down to a wedding breakfast created by our talented in house chefs. From classic three course menus to more personalised options, your food and drink can be tailored to suit your tastes, your season, and your celebration.
As evening falls, the celebrations continue in one of our stylish reception suites. The Broughton Suite is ideal for larger weddings, while the Admirals Suite can host up to 120 guests. For smaller wedding breakfasts, the Garden Room offers an intimate setting with lovely views onto the grounds.

Right from the start Megan was amazing, she really helped our vision come to life. The food was incredible - all our guests were blown away by it and the service was excellent. We’d also like to make a special mention to Ray who looked after us on the day, he couldn’t do enough for us and helped the day go smoothly, as well as introducing us as the newlyweds and the speeches. The venue was beautiful, and everything ran so smoothly on the day. Megan was amazing from start to finish – she was always quick to answer any questions we had and made sure everything was organised and ready for us. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The beautiful grounds, warm atmosphere, and welcoming staff plus being in a convenient location made for a superb venue. The whole team at Delta by Marriott have been extremely helpful in the lead up to the wedding. A special thanks to Megan for her patience and quick response to all our questions. Fast forward to our big day on 30.08.2025. The dressing of the venue was absolutely gorgeous - many of our guests commented how nice both the Garden Room (used for the ceremony) and the Broughton Suite (used for the Wedding Breakfast) looked which is all thanks to the hard work of the team at the Delta by Marriott, alongside Creative Venue who supply the decor. We also really enjoyed the food that was served and this again was very well received by guests - the cod and chip canapes were a particular hit! The team at the Delta by Marriott once again deserve a special mention. Firstly Megan for seamlessly coordinating the day so that it went absolutely perfectly. We'd also like to thank Ray who was an absolute gentleman, looking after us throughout the day and doing a fantastic job introducing speeches /being toastmaster. After much debate on venue we decided upon the Marriot in January 24 After considering many different options and prices we felt that the Marriot offered us the best combination and value for money. From day one our wedding coordinator, Megan, was absolutely fantastic and always happy to answer our many questions along the way. Right through to the big day and afterwards she provided faultless service and definitely made the day the as special as it was. We decided to pay the additional cost for the master of ceremonies, Ray, and all I can say is that this is definitely worth every penny! Ray was a great guy, very funny and immensely helpful, keeping us and our guests on track throughout the day with a great touch of humor thrown in. We had the ceremony in the cast iron grill restaurant and the wedding breakfast in the Broughton Suite, it worked perfectly and we were very impressed with how well the restaurant was transformed. The Christmas decorations added a nice extra touch too (these could have been removed if we wanted). We opted for the extra special package and decided to go with the carvery at each table, nominating one carver per table that would don a chefs hat and apron. This went down a storm with our guests and was great fun. We were a little worried that there wouldn’t be enough food as this option didn’t come with a starter or desert but we couldn’t have been more wrong! A massive thank you to the head chef, Paul, who put on the most amazing spread. The quality and presentation was first class and the mountain of beef joints and vegetables resembled a medieval banquet 😂. We added a few personal touches to complement the package offered by the Marriott and Megan went out of her way to ensure these were accommodated. All in all this was a great venue with fantastic staff and at a reasonable price, if you are considering this venture then we can wholeheartedly recommend it based on our experience. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
One of the most memorable weddings we hosted was a summer celebration for a lovely couple. Their story and vision brought so much joy to everyone involved.
The couple chose our Garden Room for their ceremony, which boasts floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking our lush, manicured gardens. On this sunny day, the golden light poured in, creating a magical, airy atmosphere as the bride walked down the aisle lined with white rose petals and lanterns!
The reception was held in our grand Broughton Suite. The room was adorned with beautiful floral centrepieces featuring blush roses, hydrangeas, and eucalyptus. Twinkling fairy lights draped across the ceiling added a warm and romantic ambience. The couple had opted for a “modern elegance” theme, and every detail reflected it.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Your suppliers will play a big role in making your day special. Photographers, venue stylists, content creators and entertainment often book up quickly, so it's a good idea to secure them early. What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
One of my favourite personal touches at a wedding was a “Love Story Table.” It was a beautifully curated display that told the couple’s journey in a creative and heartfelt way. The table featured a timeline of their relationship, with milestone dates marked on a rustic chalkboard - like their first date, the proposal, and even the day they adopted their dog.

Definitely outside on our beautiful lawn - imagine strolling hand in hand along our picturesque sweeping driveway or sharing a quiet embrace during a romantic couple’s shoot, surrounded by beautiful trees.

What’s your favourite canapé?
One of my absolute favourite canapés is the delightful combination of cherry tomatoes and creamy baby mozzarella, it’s the perfect blend of fresh, vibrant flavours and a touch of Italian sophistication!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
My favourite midnight treat has to be a gourmet pizza station - the perfect way to refuel after a night of dancing!
