Description

Every couple have very specific dreams for their big day and our Events’ Team strives to ensure that each and every one is fulfilled. The Club’s Ceremonies Licence allows up to 100 guests in our Drawing Room. The Club’s magnificent Dining Room is the ideal location to celebrate with family and friends and can accommodate up to 120 guests. At the City of London Club the aim is that you both and your guests feel completely relaxed. Your celebration will be handled with thoughtful care by the experienced and dedicated team. High standards and attention to the smallest detail will make your celebration run smoothly and your guests feel comfortable and welcome. Increasing the flexibility of the City of London Club are the Club’s 20 bespoke bedrooms. The Club’s outstanding catering team offer multiple delicious food and drink options and our Head Chef will be happy to discuss and plan a menu that will ‘wow’ your guests. A tasting service is available so that different options of both food and drink can be tried before the big day so that nothing is left to chance. A viewing of the Club is strongly recommended so do please contact our wedding and civil partnership coordinator to make an appointment.

Everything went amazingly well and we cannot express how appreciative we are for everything that you and your team did for us. The City of London Club provided a superb and elegant venue for our daughter’s wedding supported by a great team that laid on an event of exceptional quality. The Club’s many large rooms allow the reception to flow from one gracious space to another with seamless transitions. Everything was tailored to our individual requirements with experienced professional advice at every step. From designing the wedding breakfast menu with Chef, flower arrangements, wine and champagne selection to all the other many decisions that needed to be made everything was stress free and enjoyable. We cannot thank the City of London Club enough for providing what our daughter calls the happiest day of her life.

Everything was perfect and ran so smoothly.

We can’t thank you enough for all that you and the City Club did to make Ishbel’s and Marco’s wedding such a beautiful and special day. Everything was perfect and ran so smoothly. The dining room looked amazing; the flowers were gorgeous, the food and wine delicious. It was superb to be able to be outside in lovely sunshine and all the canapés were scrummy. Didier was such a good Master of Ceremonies and helped make the event run so smoothly and effortlessly. What a fantastic day you gave us on Saturday!

What a fantastic day you gave us on Saturday! We couldn't have chosen a better place to have our celebration and I know that all of our guests felt the same way. Thank you to you and the chefs and Didier, and everyone behind the scenes, who worked so hard to make our day so special. The drinks in the courtyard were a total success and we felt that people were very relaxed indeed. We had so many comments on how delicious the food was and how they've never had such delicious food at a wedding before. Also, Kenza was wonderful and her talent is mesmerising... she makes proper art with her arrangements. I thought my bouquet was dazzling. And last, but not least, the room you gave us for our wedding night was sumptuous. We are so grateful to your generosity and we will remember how spoiling it was forever. Describe the best wedding that happened at City of London Club?

It has to be the first wedding I organised after Covid, a small intimate reception with only close family. The mother of the bride hand painted the table plan, placecards were handmade with handwritten calligraphy and all the details had that bespoke touch that made everything extra special.

Plan a wedding that reflects both your personalities.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

A typewriter for guests to type their personal messages to the happy couple. I know that the messages were turned into a book for the bride and groom.
