For larger parties, the barns seat 140 people for the wedding ceremony in the Medieval Hall and around tables in the Banqueting Hall. With their lofty ceilings, ancient beams and large windows, the space is bright, elegant and easy to decorate to suit your theme. The Medieval barn also has en evening capacity for a total of 200 guests.
For smaller weddings and events, Bruisyard Hall has capacity for 30 guests to witness your ceremony and dine with you in the Hall’s elegant dining room.
Bruisyard Country Estate’s extensive formal and informal grounds are perfect for an outside wedding ceremony or a ceremony by a celebrant or friend. To be married to the sound of birdsong under Suffolk skies will be a truly special experience never to be forgotten by you or your guests.
Rich in history and atmosphere, you’ll find Bruisyard Hall, a 15 bedroomed country house, at the heart of the Estate.
It’s a family home, and feels like it - comfortable, liveable and in great taste. Good books and well- chosen magazines are readily available, there’s even a billiard room and a card-table with the most wonderful view. You’ll find fun games for indoors and outdoor play, including the all-important rounders set!
Every wedding at the estate can enjoy exclusive use of the grounds and estate during their two or three night stay, creating a perfect long weekend or midweek wedding celebration for you and your close guests.
At the estate, you’ll find that your Event Manager can tailor the wedding day you dream of, to meet your exact wishes.

The entire weekend, everyone was so accommodating
From the moment we drove through the gates of Bruisyard, we were instantly enamoured.
Throughout our entire planning process, Katie and the team were so hands on and happy to help wherever they could. Nothing was too big or too small and it truly eased so many of the nerves that like to tag along when planning a wedding!
We will forever struggle to find another place that truly makes our hearts feel as full as they do whenever we think of our wonderful wedding, at this perfect venue.

The estate is stunning and the perfect place!
As soon as we turned into the drive at Bruisyard Country Estate, we knew it was the place for us.
The estate is stunning and the perfect place to spend the most beautiful wedding weekend with loved ones.

As soon as I saw the barn I fell in love
We were adamant that we didn't want anywhere that felt too "formal" or "regimented" and Bruisyard ticked every box. The staff were so friendly, laid back and approachable, the use of the home and the barns was very relaxed and although the house is impeccably decorated and grand, it still felt homely and warm.
The wedding weekend went without a glitch, thanks to Ruth and the team on the day.

Bruisyard will always have a place in our hearts
A main selling point for us, especially in light of everything in the past few years, was the ability to be surrounded by all your nearest and dearest without having to rush off the next morning which really added to the appeal.
Our wedding day was fabulous from start to finish, the team had worked so hard to make sure everything had run smoothly, no doubt helped by Katie’s amazing organisational skills.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
There's so many spots we can barely choose a 'best' one. We love seeing all of the informal shots, of family and friends, over their whole stay with us, just having fun and creating memories.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Of course - but we couldn't say who!
What’s your favourite canapé?
Having had the opportunity to taste so many of the chef's canapés, this is a tough one! We love the Gressingham duck breast with baby spinach on a potato rosti.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
You can't beat our Wood Fired pizzas served after dark in the barn courtyard - the perfect mid evening snack before heading straight back on the dance floor!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
It's steeped in history & charm yet has isn't stuffy like some ancient venues. The Hall really does welcome you when you arrive and is a home-from-home. The Medieval barn is the perfect mix of contemporary and rustic charm, a beautiful blank canvas ready for couples to make it their own!
