Celebrate your wedding at British Patagonia, an independent bakery and evening dining space at 178 Upper Street, close to Islington Town Hall. We welcome up to 40 seated guests or 60 standing for an intimate, relaxed reception.

EXCLUSIVE HIRE
From £1,500 minimum food-and-drink spend for a four-hour reception, subject to date, menu and staffing requirements. Your food and drink purchases count towards the minimum; it is not an additional hire fee. For example, 40 two-course roast meals cost £1,520 before drinks, or 40 three-course meals cost £1,800 before drinks.
Choose a seated roast, canapés and drinks, or ask about pizza, relaxed sharing food, artisan pastries and bakery desserts. Vegan options are available, with menus and dietary requirements discussed with each couple. Group bookings before or after your ceremony are also welcome.
Our entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible. The latest event finish is 1am; your timings and availability are agreed when booking.

How many guests can you accommodate?
We can host up to 40 seated guests for a wedding meal or 60 standing guests for a reception. Tell us your preferred layout when you enquire.
What are your food package prices?

Food for 40 guests is £1,520 for the two-course roast or £1,800 for the three-course roast, including VAT. Drinks and optional canapés are extra. Food and drinks count towards the agreed exclusive-hire minimum spend. Your final quote depends on your date and plans.
Are drinks included in the food prices?
Drinks are extra to the £10, £38 and £45 per-person food prices. For exclusive hire, your food and drink purchases both count towards the agreed minimum spend. We can discuss drinks when preparing your quote.
Can we choose food other than a roast?
Yes. We can discuss canapés, pizza, relaxed sharing food, artisan pastries and bakery desserts. Vegan options are available. Tell us about dietary requirements so we can agree a suitable menu and quote.
Can we book a group without hiring the whole venue?
Yes, group bookings before or after your ceremony are welcome, subject to availability. Let us know your date, guest numbers and plans so we can discuss a group booking or exclusive use of the venue.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes. British Patagonia has a wheelchair-accessible entrance and toilet. Please tell us about any other access requirements when you enquire so we can discuss your reception layout.
What time can our reception finish?
Our latest event finish time is 1am. Exclusive-hire pricing starts with a four-hour reception; your start and finish times are agreed as part of your individual booking.
