Undeniably one of Chelsea’s most iconic residents, Bluebird is a grade II listed building, starting off its life as a garage made famous for being the home of the car that helped Sir Malcolm Campbell break the land speed record. It was transformed into a restaurant in 1997 and is most definitely as stylish as its oh-sochic SW3 regulars. Bluebird also boasts a terrace, a café, a contemporary art deco bar plus the renowned restaurant, as well as an array of private dining options. The ever-changing menu offers plenty of options to indulge, and there’s a hell of a cocktail list, to boot. Getting married is a special occasion for you both as well as everyone involved.

Describe the best wedding that happened at Bluebird Chelsea?
200 seated in the main restaurant and courtyard. Beautiful flowers covering every inch of the restaurant and an exploding wedding cake!! Yes it was as exciting as it sounds.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
It is your wedding so stop listening to every one else! If you want to have a vintage style wedding, simple wedding or an over the top wedding then do it. It's one day that is solely yours. Pinterest is great for ideas so I would start there and save anything that you think would work for you.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
One of my brides love to travel so each table was names according to the place she had visited and had a map of that place. The actual table plan was a large map with pin points! Very original!

Our famous Salmon Blini or Blue Bluebird Macaroon for dessert!

Sliders and truffle fries!
What is Bluebird Chelsea most unique feature?
Bluebird used to be a garage home to the Bluebird racing car. Its original features and beams are still in place which makes it a beautifully unique venue with lots of character! Not to mention our stunning Courtyard which is perfect for capturing those gorgeous wedding photos in the sunshine
