Description

Baby Moon offers you a magical retreat away from the busy world and a blank canvas to get creative and bestow your own unique style. You can choose to hold your ceremony at Baby Moon or simply bring the party to us. Decorate our beautiful woodland ceremonial circle and surrounding trees with flowers and lanterns: nature will supply the butterflies and buzzing bees. The wedding party approach along a winding path through the trees and enter the circle under an archway intertwined with flowers. Guests sit in a circle around the Bride and Groom and wedding vows are spoken with a background of birdsong. Our celebrant can offer lots of ideas for your wedding day and create a personal ceremony. Our event space “Ganesh” can seat 50 indoors, or if you need more room, use the grassy space outside - go festival style with straw bales and blankets or decorate with ivy and fairy lights for a bohemian fairytale. We can arrange tipi or marquee hire for more indoor space and recommend caterers, florists, and photographers. A small sound system is available for music as well as a place to host an acoustic band. If you have your own ideas for your perfect wedding day then we would love to hear them. Our wedding packages include 2 nights' exclusive use of Baby Moon. Weekend and midweek dates are available. Package 1 £3650 - £3950 includes exclusive use of Baby Moon for 2 nights, for 50 people. - our events pavilion - a unique woodland ceremony - celebrant services, - bridal boudoir, - the Baby Moon pay bar (guests pay for their own drinks) - a list of preferred caterers can be supplied with prices from £10 per person. -Package 2 £8300 - £8700 includes everything in package 1 plus a double top hat tipi with entrance porch, double doors, carpets, chairs and tables, dancefloor, disco ball, and fairy lights. We knew from the minute we arrived at Baby Moon Camp for a look around that it was somewhere very special. We loved the feeling of the place, the woods, the field, the quirky yurts and the little details. Some places just seem to have good magic in them, and Baby Moon Camp is one of these places. In terms of hosts, Amie and Rachael were so natural and welcoming and down to earth. Nothing we suggested seemed to faze them and they were really supportive and helpful about what had worked in the past for other couples. They were also full of brilliant suggestions about local suppliers and we found it really straightforward to pull together the event with their help. We opted to have Rachael undertake the decoration for us and we were so delighted with the way she and Amie dressed the site, the ceremony area in the woods and the giant tepee. The flowers, the table settings, the outside space, everything looked just perfect. A glorious bohemian, vintage and mismatch style with haybales, wildflowers and bunting – exactly what we wanted. Plus tons of twinkly lights! Ahead of the special day, we planned the wording and the flow of the handfasting ceremony together with Amie. She was so experienced and kind that it felt really easy to bring together a deeply moving and profound service that felt just right for us as a couple. The day itself was just so beautiful and intense and fun and emotional and unforgettable. We felt so supported by Amie and Rachael and all of our guests were just blown away by the beautiful site, the woods, the service, the tepee, the band - everything. We had so many wonderful compliments and it made the world of difference to have our friends staying there on the site with us. The children who were with us all had the most wonderful time too. They had space to play and explore and we were able to provide lots of outdoor games for them. Thank you so much Baby Moon Camp for providing such magic. People have described the wedding as the ‘best wedding they’ve ever been to’ and ‘the only wedding that their children have actually enjoyed’ and ‘the place they want to go back to next summer and every summer from now on’. If you love the outdoors and being at one with nature then this is the place to have your happy ever after! If your abit different and don't want a formal do then this woodland venue is for you! I had this idea in my head of a relaxed wedding, somewhere all the kids invited could just play and the adults to....this was the perfect place and so glad we chose Babymoon. We had the best 3 day wedding here the atmosphere was relaxing and Victoria and Aimee were both great on the run up to and the day itself, Aimee gave the the most Perfect Ceremony that meant so much to us! The accommodations for our guests were all amazing and babymoon were so accommodating for everyone! I will forever be thankful and couldnt have asked for more :-)If you love the outdoors and being at one with nature then this is the place to have your happy ever after! We had our wedding at baby moon and it was the most amazing day! Everyone had something positive to say about the venue, the entertainment and the accommodation. The staff were great, listened to all our needs and wants and really helped keep us on track with planning our day. All of our weddings have been beautiful and unique like snowflakes, but our most astonishing wedding achievement was to lay on a full wedding reception with a few days’ notice, complete with sit-down meal for 50, beautiful wedding decorations, and a gorgeous wedding cake tower. We couldn’t have done it without the ingenuity and energy of our celebrant, Aimee. We just had to celebrate the couple’s spontaneous act of love by laying on some merriment.
