The Simply Guesten option, which combines the charge for holding your civil ceremony in the Hall, with the charge for holding your reception in the Hall. This option is a blank canvas that allows you to plan all the details of your wedding to create a day that matches your own style. The reception charge includes: access to New Guesten Hall the afternoon before your wedding to decorate the Hall, hire of New Guesten Hall between 10.30am and midnight on the day of your wedding and use of our tables and chairs. This means you make a booking with our approved bar company and caterers yourselves, as well as decorating the Hall and booking entertainment, which gives you control over the menu, style of entertainment and decoration of the Hall to really personalise your wedding day. This option also allows you to bring up to five drinks per guests, we do not charge corkage but the bar company will charge glass hire and a service charge for these drinks.

We got married here a few weeks ago, and it was absolutely perfect
We got married here a few weeks ago, and it was absolutely perfect. We had the ceremony in the hall, followed by a blessing in the little chapel and afternoon tea and hog roast for the reception. The staff were very helpful and accomodating, the food was excellent and was done by the Avoncroft Edwardian Tea Room catering staff. All in all the day went very smoothly, and there was the minature railway running and a jousting event, so with all that and all the buildings, all of the guests said they really enjoyed the venue, there was plenty to do and it was quite unusual.

My Wedding Reception was held in the main 'Barn/Hall' at Avoncroft Museum in April 2012
My Wedding Reception was held in the main 'Barn/Hall' at Avoncroft Museum in April 2012.. Me and my Husband loved that it was a bit 'different' from your standard Wedding Reception Venue, our guests were intrigued by the old buildings etc, and it gave guests something to do/look at whilst Photographs were getting taken - some great photos to be had here! The Events Staff were also friendly and very helpful. The Wedding was a great success, and everyone loved the Venue! -Katie G.
