We have created an unusual wedding venue suitable for both sumptuous wedding receptions, as well as intimate family gatherings.
The venue consists of a spacious and adaptable blank canvas barn and the surrounding grounds. The barn has a series of interconnecting rooms with its fireplace room at the centre. The barn boasts all the features of a country house wedding venue, along with the scale and versatility to enable you to create a unique wedding day.
Aswanley can be styled as much or as little as you want. It can be personalised with the tiniest of touches or completely re-imagined. The venue hire fee includes almost everything you need -from chairs and tables, to a catering kitchen, cutlery, crockery and glassware. Please ask our in house wedding co-ordinators about the packages we can offer letting us do all the work and organisation behind the scenes.
We have two outstanding in-house wedding coordinators, Rachael and Claire. Our first rate team, with lots of event experience, have the skills to help you realise your dream wedding.

You have the option to have your wedding ceremony in a place of your choice, our fireplace room, ballroom or barn lawn. You will have an on the day wedding coordinator, who is on hand to help from the minute you enquire, to when you leave the venue at the end of your wedding. Our price also includes bar set up and staff until 12.30am, exclusive use of the grounds and gardens for photographs, rectangular or round dining tables, and all cutlery, crockery & glassware. Your chosen caterer has full access to our catering kitchen and equipment.

Nothing was too much trouble during the planning process or on the day and I'm so grateful to the girls at Aswanley for playing their part in our special day whilst still allowing us the freedom to plan it exactly how we wanted. It was absolutely everything we could've hoped for, and more. It really did feel like our home for the day and the atmosphere felt by everyone was relaxed, welcoming, fun and full of love. The venue is absolutely stunning and all the staff went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was perfect, both before and during the wedding day. Everyone warns you things can and will go wrong on your big day, As far as we are both aware nothing went wrong and everything totally exceeded our expectations. The venue is just absolutely beautiful and everyone keeps saying how they’ve never been anywhere like it and that it’s the BEST venue they’ve been to. We are so glad we booked here even though it meant travelling for everyone, it was more than worth it. Your staff are incredible, so warm and welcoming and of course up for a good laugh with the guests. Everyone was so lovely and helpful and we couldn’t fault a single thing. We are still not over the big day and want to do it all over again. It was the best day ever and our guests are even saying the same thing, the best wedding they’ve been to and some of them are married themselves! Clatterin Brig is absolutely beautiful and was the most gorgeous place to get ready the morning of the wedding and also to unwind after the big day. We are already trying to think of times we can book again to enjoy it! We will definitely be back.
