The venue was perfect for our wedding
Great venue and events team! I held my wedding here in November of this year (2021). The wedding planning was accelerated as we only had 3 months to organise. Ana and Sean were fantastic in answering queries and generally being accommodating. The venue was perfect for our wedding as we were able to use the different spaces for our guests. I am so pleased with how everything turned out.

Profoundly thankful for the memorable day
We had our wedding there a few months ago and we cannot describe how unforgettable the day was, thanks to the beautiful venue and the unbelievably helpful staff. Ana was phenomenal! From day one, she put us and our families at ease and she was always at the end of a phone-call / email to make sure our wedding planning experience went as smoothly as possible. Addington Palace itself was phenomenal and that chandelier featured in many of our photos! We made use of every nook and cranny for our special day and were profoundly thankful for the memorable day, that Addington Palace and it's staff gave us. Thanks again for everything!

A truly royal wedding
Majestic location fit for a king. The entrance and location is easy to get to and you tend to forget where you are with such breathtaking greenery and incredible architecture. The palace is well maintained and the staff are all so helpful. The interior is fantastic the art pieces and decor really take you back and you feel like royalty the moment you drive in. Would recommend this ideal location for any wedding or event possible.

An unforgettable wedding day
We celebrated our wedding at Addington Palace and couldn’t have picked a better venue. Everything from the idyllic setting, the charming and helpful staff, the beautiful main hall, to the top class food were faultless and unforgettable! Ourselves, our families and guests had a fantastic weekend, we honestly could not fault anything. We had so many compliments about the food and service and everyone went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after perfectly. The personal touch and friendliness went far beyond what we expected. It was also wonderful to have separate rooms within the venue for people who wanted to dance, chat or look at pictures and reminisce. Very special thanks to Ana and her amazing team of staff for making our day as memorable as it was!

fabulous country mansion
A fabulous country mansion which sits in several acres of greenery and beside a quiet golf course. Inside it is as stately as you can expect of such a grand building. There are quite a few rooms which are all delightful in their own ways. It is a magnificent place to host a wedding or drinks party. The have an adjoining marque which provides plentiful space for a large crowd. Its grand entrance and feel of aristocracy will impress guests at any event held here.

Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?

We love all of them!

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Sometimes less is more. With a grand ornate building like ours, we think any decor should serve to complement the venue. This certainly helps when budgeting also, as you may find you can get away with hardly any decor, as the rooms are impressive on their own.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

I think you are always in for a treat when the bride and groom have choreographed a dance routine with a live band and/or choir. You have to be there to understand the atmosphere, especially as the great hall has excellent acoustics.

Describe your venue in 5 adjectives.

Palatial, Historic, Luxury, Grand, Exclusive

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

This is tricky. For me, when the weather is right it's the South Lawn (Our gardens) which has the palace in all its glory as the backdrop. However, both the Bridal room, and our Grand Staircase are our contenders.

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?

To name a few we've had HM The Queen, Brad Pitt, Ben Kingsley, Rowan Atkinson, Salma Hayek, Kate Moss, Ronny Corbett, Ian Wright and there's plenty more we could tell you about!

What’s your favourite canapé?

Citrus-cured sea bass on blinis with ossetra caviar and crème fraîche.

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

Champagne and caviar Darling!

What is your venue's most unique feature?

The building itself is no doubt the hero in this story. Which is why we give you exclusivity over the house and grounds to providing you one of the most unique wedding experiences imaginable, in having your own Palace for the day.

What part of your business are you most proud of?

Undoubtedly it's the history of the building which starts in the Saxon era, first recorded in the Domesday Book. There are nearly 1000 years of visitors, from Kings and Queens to everything in between. If you want to learn more, check out our history page on our website. We're embarking on a project right now to publish the most in-depth article ever on the Palace and can't wait to share it with you!
