Couples are invited to tie the knot in the 300-year-old Rickety Barn, a lovingly restored traditional timber barn with solid oak beams and wrought iron chandeliers. In the warmer months, couples can also choose to tie the knot outdoors in The Thatched Bower.
After the ceremony, enjoy reception drinks in the modern Moat Barn, spilling out onto the landscaped gardens to mingle amongst the venue’s resident peacocks. Enjoy your wedding breakfast in the Bridge Barn a light-filled space with views across the gardens and moat. Its delicate, neutral colour scheme gives you the opportunity to create your own style on a blank canvas.
Food and drink at Bassmead Manor Barns is not just a meal but an immersive experience you’ll share with your guests. For a standout main course, why not opt for sharing boards served as a family-style feast for all to dig in and enjoy? And for the evening, enjoy wood-fired pizzas made fresh before your guests or vibrant street food cooked outdoors. Serve showstopping drinks that complement your menu, from sustainably sourced wines to celebratory reception drinks and showstopping signature cocktails.
Bassmead’s flexible, à la carte menu provides endless opportunities to combine dishes to create a dining experience that showcases your unique personality. And, if you’re looking for something more bespoke, their team would be delighted to collaborate with you on designing your dream menu.
The on-site team take great pride in providing exceptional service to you and your guests. They will be with you every step of the way, offering personalised guidance during the planning process and ensuring everything unfolds seamlessly throughout your event.
After dancing the night away, newlyweds can spend the night in Dove Cottage – your very own honeymoon cottage. For your closest friends and family, Appletree Cottage features seven guest bedrooms. Enjoy a breakfast together the following morning to share stories of a wonderful day.
