Brought to you by one of the UK’s most established wedding venue groups, Country House Weddings, Holmewood Hall is the newest venue to be added to a premium collection of beautiful exclusive-use wedding venues in the South of England. Spanning back over 25 years, CHW venues hold exclusively weddings and are exclusively yours for the day.
With a wealth of character and period features, Holmewood Hall can be found nestled away in the idyllic countryside of Cambridgeshire. Exclusive use of house and grounds allow for flawless photograph opportunities, or for winter weddings enjoy the variety of reception rooms, each with stunning features, within the house. You can enjoy a tipple in the Champagne Bar upon arrival before moving to the spectacular Gold Room, complete with its 50 ft-long golden aisle and feature fireplace, for a truly memorable wedding ceremony. The Bandstand is an idyllic outside ceremony setting for sunnier days. Dine in style in the Banqueting Hall with striking views across the lake, then party the night away in the Vault.
Finally, Holmewood Hall has 16 luxurious newly-renovated rooms, including the stunning Renaissance Honeymoon Suite, complete with dressing room and en-suite shower & bath - the perfect way to end your day.

Perfect venue
Since first booking a viewing we've been in love with this place. Staff have always been helpful but Giulia was absolutely so helpful and calmed me down no end. I was super stressed 🤣 From cottage to hall everything was perfect. So glad we chose this venue. We had the best day.

We hired Holmewood Hall for our Wedding day - we had 2 postponements during Covid, but everything agreed was carried forward for 2 and a half years!
We finally got married at Holmewood Hall on 18th September 2022 and we can confirm that the venue is beautiful, the bedrooms are stunning, the staff are incredibly attentive, the food exceptional and it's great value for money!
As a result of all of this, our Wedding Day was everything we hoped for and more.
We would highly recommend Holmewood Hall to anyone looking to book a Wedding venue. Our thanks to Lee and the team for an amazing day!

We couldn’t have had a better wedding day if we had tried it was more than we could have ever imagined and the whole process with Holmewood has been great.
Polly really is something else and she should be exceptionally proud of how she makes peoples dreams a reality because honestly we could not have done it without her.
My family work in hospitality and they were blown away with the service and the way your team worked. They spoke about how wonderful the dinner service was and how all staff were welcoming, approachable and all had smiles.
We are so pleased we chose Holmewood Hall as our wedding venue and cannot wait to return for a dinner date soon.

Describe the best wedding that happened at Holmewood Hall Wedding Venue?
Our first wedding! It was held on the 15th June 2019 and it was a beautiful day which allowed for our couple to have some great photos outside. We served their guests with specially selected canapes by the couple with welcome drinks including summer Pimm’s and bottles of Budweiser beer. The weather was kind to them so they made use of our 10 acres of grounds to have some beautiful photos in.

Always utilise the experience of our fantastic Personal Wedding managers – they are there to be by your side throughout the whole planning process as well as your special day and no question is too silly to ask!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
A family member ordered a bottle of prosecco and a plate of chocolate-dipped strawberries for their couple to enjoy the night of their wedding, this was delivered to their bedroom with a personalised note from the family member.
