Our exclusive use Jacobean house is set in manicured gardens overlooking three ornamental lakes and Ely Cathedral. We welcome our couples to use our entire Manor House, 16 hotel rooms, and gardens for the day and night of your wedding. Our couples can elevate their experience and stay with us the night before the wedding for that extra special touch. The Old Hall is truly stunning in every season. Spring weddings boast blooming gardens, the summer season is perfect for our patios, gardens and terraces. In Autumn our couples enjoy emotive skies and Winter weddings boast roaring fires, cosy spaces, featuring no less than 20 Christmas trees. With incredible indoor and outdoor spaces, The Old Hall is magical in any weather. As a family-owned venue, we are truly experts in what we do and service is always our priority. Our dedicated team of event managers are always on hand to ensure your wedding is stress free and unique. The most perfect day

From the moment we booked our viewing to the moment we left after our wedding everything was just perfect. Since I can remember getting married at The Old Hall has always been my dream, the views are stunning, the venue is stunning, the food is incredible and the staff are out of this world. Nothing was ever too much trouble for anyone. They sent you lists of their recommended supplier which I found really helpful, no question is a silly question. It doesn’t matter if you are going to one of their open evenings or you’ve got an appointment to discuss your wedding, you are always made to feel so welcome. In the day of our wedding everything was just perfect, there was no stress, no worries, if a supplier hadn’t arrived when they were meant to they would phone to find out where they were. You needed anything they would straight away get it for you. Someone was on hand to help us from the moment we arrived until the moment we went to bed. Little things sometimes mean so much. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was, how incredible the staff are and more amazing the food was. I wish I could go back and relive the whole day all over again. The Old Hall Ely, will forever hold a special place in my heart ❤️

The perfect day.

This really was the perfect day at the stunning Old Hall Ely. This is a family run business with mrs Morbey running a tight ship. ( amazing lady ) when we first went to the old hall to look at the venue we was told by the events manager “that they know how to smash a wedding” and they where true to there word. The food was impeccable the staff was faultless. The rooms are incredible. If you are thinking of getting married look no further. Thank you team old hall.

From the moment we went to visit The Old Hall, Ely to the moment we checked out the day after our wedding, and beyond, the The Old Hall were phenomenal! We could not have asked for a more perfect experience with planning and arranging our wedding. All of the staff were amazing and all of our guests commented how seamless our wedding day was. The attention to detail, amazing quality of food, wonderful staff and just absolutely stunning house and gardens made our wedding day perfect! All of our guests still speak of how amazing our wedding was 5 months on!

The best day ever!

Our wedding day at the Old Hall was everything we hoped it would be and more! From our very first tour, we fell in love with the place and could not recommend it enough. As a wedding venue, the Old Hall and grounds are stunning - they just kept giving with all the different areas for our guests to explore with spectacular views of the Cathedral and photo opportunities everywhere you look. Our guests couldn't believe how many different areas there were and it really felt like a journey as we all made our way through all the different parts of the venue - culminating in the amazing hidden dance floor! The staff could not do enough to help and went above and beyond every step of the way. Particular mention needs to be made to the chefs who not only served an incredible meal to everyone, but also catered to a guest with a very extreme allergy. The chef took the allergy very seriously, spoke to the guest well in advance to put him at ease and served an amazing meal. The standard of care in every aspect of the day was exceptional. Being able to stay at the venue with our close friends and family - in the spectacular rooms - made it all the more special. The other really amazing and special thing about this venue is that it is also a hotel at times, meaning you can go back, have a beautiful meal and stay, and re-live the memories - something which isn't possible in most venues. We have been back once already and will certainly be going back annually! In summary - we love the Old Hall, our guests loved the Old Hall and we would recommend it to anyone!

The rooms are fantastic!

The Old Hall Ely hosted our wedding. It is an absolutely stunning venue; so nice that we changed our planned wedding dates just so we could book it. The rooms are fantastic with plenty of space and luxurious facilities. The views are amazing of the countryside, especially with Ely Cathedral just on the crest of the adjacent hill (an excellent backdrop as the sun sets). The best part of The Old Hall Ely is the staff.

What a stunning venue!!

What a stunning venue!! The moment we drove through the gates for our viewing, we both fell in love and couldn’t think of having our wedding anywhere else. It had everything we were looking for. Our guests commented on how incredibly organised the staff were, from the setting up of the marquee, to the serving of the food. The rooms were so clean and very well looked after. The day was so relaxed and went so so quickly. We can’t thank the team at The Old Hall enough from start to finish.
