We are experts in what we do, and have an incredible team of experienced and enthusiastic Event Managers. We, therefore, have crafted elegant and exclusive wedding packages for our couples. Here's what's included in our wedding package: FOR THE COUPLE: Complimentary Honeymoon Suite for your wedding night A dedicated Event Management Team A complimentary taster event – we don’t do the usual small sample morning – we host an incredible evening event, where you will taste stunning dishes, delicious wines, and will enjoy our venue at its fullest. The marquee and dancefloor will be in full swing, with evening entertainment. This is always a magical evening and an experience our couples never forget. GUESTS: All prices above are inclusive for 60 guests Additional guests, up to 170 for the ceremony and seated wedding breakfast, and also an additional maximum number of 250 persons to celebrate with you in the evening, at a set price per head. An Exclusive Use Wedding Venue: Our stunning Jacobean house is set in plush, manicured gardens overlooking three ornamental lakes and Ely Cathedral. We are an exclusive use venue - our entire Manor House, 16 hotel rooms, and gardens are exclusively yours for the day and night of your wedding, and the night before your big day too should you wish. Stunning in Every Season: Our interiors and gardens are like no other. Spring weddings boast blooming gardens and stunning sunsets. In the summer season our patios, gardens and terraces make excellent entertaining spaces for games, drinks and live music. In Autumn our couples enjoy emotive skies and incredibly colourful gardens. Winter weddings boast roaring fires, cosy spaces, and incredibly decorated gardens and interiors, featuring no less than 20 Christmas trees. We Are Real Experts in What We Do: As a family-owned venue, hospitality and service are our priority. Our amazing team are always on hand to ensure your wedding is as stress free and personal as possible. Our Events Managers will guide you every step of the way – we believe that planning your big day should be an absolute pleasure and a magical experience, and we go above and beyond to ensure this is a reality for each and every one of our couples. Our team of chefs are inventive and pride themselves on quality; we will work with you to make sure your wedding breakfast is crafted exactly to your taste. The Perfect Setting to Say ‘I Do’: With incredible indoor and outdoor spaces, you’re guaranteed your perfect ceremony whatever the weather. Our hand-crafted and ornate outdoor pavilion overlooks our lakes and gardens with Ely Cathedral on the horizon. Our inside ceremony space, The Orangery, is beautiful in every season and features floor to ceiling glass which can all be opened to unveil a stunning inside-outside space. The most beautiful wedding.
I recently attended a most delightful wedding at The Old Hall and everything was perfect. The venue is beautiful and the view of Ely cathedral is just lovely. The bar prices are reasonable. The bride and groom chose to have an afternoon tea and this was excellent. Any dietary needs are catered for if the catering staff are informed beforehand. My vegetarian food was served to me on my own platter, which is the first time this has happened in over 40 years! I had a tour of one of the bedrooms and it was a lovely room with beautiful views of Ely cathedral. I highly recommend The Old Hall, it was perfect in every way.

The Best Wedding in the World Everrrrrr !!!!
The Old Hall is an amazing location and really impressed all of our guests. The Helicopter flight to get there plus the Carousel and carnival theme made it individual and iconic, but it was the warm welcome and friendly service from all of the staff for whom nothing was too much trouble that made it a standout, perfect occasion. All of the guests commented on how much they enjoyed it and a number said they would be returning, just for a stay even though they don’t have a wedding to organise. We looked at so many venues and there is nothing to compare with it. So many different aspects and photo opportunities

One of the most incredible wedding venues in the country
Thank you for making our dreams come true with our wedding on the 29.5.22. All the staff and team were outstanding and nothing was too much for anyone! I would like to personally thank Amy for helping me multiple times with my dress, I really appreciate it. Just thank you to everyone for making it special. We had the most amazing wedding and wish we could do it all over again. Mrs Morbey, thank you for allowing your home to become one of the most incredible wedding venues in the country. It's so welcoming with such a family presence which is one of the reasons we chose it. All your staff are an absolute credit to the venue and we really thank you and everyone at the old hall.

Such a Well-Run Establishment
I was at your wonderful hotel for the wedding reception of Sarah and Craig Larner. Not only is the house stunning, but the service provided is excellent. Your front of house staff were so polite and extremely helpful. They were there when needed, yet unobtrusive. Those on duty in the restaurant knew exactly what they needed to do and consequently carried out a very slick operation. The kitchen staff did an amazing job in preparing the wonderful food. Congratulations on creating such a well-run establishment.

The old hall Ely From the minute we looked round this incredible venue we knew it was the one, what we didn’t know is just how amazing it actually would be. The staff are incredible, each and every one of them work extremely hard and nothing is to much for them. All the service is done with a smile. This venue is sensational , the grounds, the views and atmosphere. It really is a family orientated place with such a warm welcoming feeling. We couldn’t of chose any better and would highly recommend. Our day was something so special and everything we had envisioned came to life. It was honestly the best day of our lives and something we shall cherish forever. If we could do it all again we would. Will always be thankful to the old hall for making it all Happen. The service we received was outstanding and deserve every 5* review and award they have received so far.

We can't possibly chose! We have so many incredible spots, from our lakes, to our sculptures, to our terrace with Ely Cathedral views. You'll find so many incredible gems here.

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?

We have hosted various celebrity couples and guests over the years, all of whom have been a pleasure to meet. Most recently, Pixie Lott & Oliver Cheshire celebrated their marriage with us!

What’s your favourite canapé?

We have so many! Our favourites are vibrant and a little different - something to set your taste buds alight which pairs perfectly with a glass of Champagne, such as our wild mushroom, roast garlic and tarragon arancini.

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

Dancing in the moonlight of course.

What is your venue's most unique feature?

Our most unique feature is our secret dance floor. Attached to our reception room is our light up dance floor, which is magically revealed for our couples' first dance, and then enjoyed all night long.

What part of your business are you most proud of?

Our family of staff - we are confident in saying that everyone here absolutely loves what they do, and we are proud to always have such smiley, caring and enthusiastic team members at our venue.
