1. How would you describe your photography style?
Our style is relaxed, natural and documentary-led. We focus on capturing your wedding day as it unfolds, from the big emotional moments to all the little interactions you might not even realise are happening. We want your photos to feel like you, rather than a collection of posed shots.
2. We hate having our photos taken! Can you help?
Absolutely! You're definitely not alone, and honestly, some of our favourite couples are the ones who tell us this from the start. 🤍 We keep things relaxed and unobtrusive, with no awkward posing or pressure to perform for the camera. When it comes to couple photos, we'll offer a little gentle guidance so you feel comfortable, but mostly we want you to relax, have a laugh together and be yourselves.
3. Do you take posed photos?
Our main focus is natural, candid photography, but we're not completely hands-off! We'll gently guide you when needed, especially for your couple portraits, and we're happy to capture a selection of family group photos too. We just keep everything as relaxed and straightforward as possible, so you can get back to enjoying your day.
4. Are there two photographers?
Yes! We're Natalie and Carl, a husband-and-wife photography team, so you'll have two photographers capturing your day. This means we can photograph different angles, reactions and moments happening at the same time, giving you a fuller story of your wedding day.
6. How many photos will we receive?
Every wedding is different, but our full-day collections typically include 600+ fully edited, high-resolution images. We carefully select and edit the photographs that tell the story of your day, giving you a beautiful collection of moments to look back on and relive for years to come.
7. When will we receive our wedding photos?
We know you'll be so excited to see your photos! We aim to send you a little sneak peek within a week of your wedding, with your full gallery usually ready within 10–12 weeks. You'll receive a private online gallery where you can view, download and share your photographs with family and friends.
10. Do you cover weddings outside Derbyshire?
Yes! We're based in the Derbyshire area and photograph weddings across Derbyshire and the surrounding areas, as well as further afield. If you've found your dream venue a little further away, just get in touch and we'll chat through the details.
11. Can we meet you before booking?
Absolutely! We offer relaxed Zoom chats so you can get to know us, ask any questions and get a feel for what it would be like having us photograph your wedding. We know choosing your photographers is about more than just loving their photos; it's important that you feel comfortable with the people who'll be there on your day, too. There's no pressure, just a friendly chat. 🤍
12. How do we book you?
Once you've checked our availability and decided we're the right fit for you, we'll send over your booking contract and invoice. Your date is secured once we've received your signed contract and booking deposit. After that, you can relax knowing your photography is taken care of while you get on with planning the rest of your day!
