What is your most memorable wedding?
All our weddings are memorable because they are all different to each other and everything we do is bespoke to each couple. But if we had to pick 1, it would be our very own Ashley's wedding. We all got involved in making her wedding florals and we still talk about it to this day. Seeing one of our own get married is such a special moment.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Natural, Rustic, Current, Bespoke, Unique
What about your business are you most proud of?
We are so proud in how far we've come since opening our doors in 2020. Ashley started this business, just before lockdown and it was just her and now look at us! We are a team of 6 now and doing bigger events all the time. It's such a nice feeling to see how far we've come.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Ask all the questions, nothing is ever too silly to ask. The more you ask the more we can help create your dream wedding. And if you can, bring lots of images to your consult, it really helps us create your vision.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
There are so many, we love seeing what everyone does, all the little touches really make a day! But we do love animals so when you involve your pets... we LOVE IT!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Once you've enquired we will be in touch with you with some dates that either Ashley or Chloe are available for a consult then we either get you into the shop or we can do a zoom call and that is where we get into ALL the details of the wedding day. We have a checklist that we go through so that if you forget something, we have it on our list. Maybe it's something you haven't thought about, but we do this all the time so we know what to ask. Then we go away and work on your quote where we send you over a detailed list of everything and then get you booked in. About 2 months before your big day we get back in touch to finalise everything and then we will see you on the morning of the wedding! We like to take the stress away completely so just know you are in safe hands with us.
What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?
We had a couple who were MASSIVE Harry Potter fans so we put a golden snitch in the bouquet, hidden at the back so that just the bride knew it was there.
Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?
No, flowers have so many different meanings to everyone. It could be that your granny's favourite flower was sweet peas, or your mums was sunflowers or yours is hydrangea. Go with what you like and not what everyone else says you should have, after all it is your wedding day.
What is the most romantic flower and why?
We don't think that any 1 type of flower is more romantic than any others, although some might disagree haha! Again, go with what you like.
What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?
We deliver our flowers in water, and we always remind our couple to put the bouquets back in water once the pictures are over with that way you can get the most out of them. Afterwards you can keep them in a vase at home, give them to someone (try do this if you have flower decor pieces, at the end of the night tell everyone to take some home), you can have them dried or put in resin the list is endless.
