Future Mountain Tap Room cleverly combines a modern industrial space with rustic farmhouse charm, all in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne. Our oak barrels, stainless steel tanks, warehouse design elements, thoughtful lighting and high ceilings make for an impressive event space, and even better photos! Full venue hire gives you exclusive access the entire venue along with the opportunity to hire external caterers, a DJ and move the current layout around to allow for sit down dinners and a dance floor. This is a perfect space for a relaxed gathering of up to 120 of your favourite people. Located on Plenty Road Reservoir on Preston’s border our tap room is conveniently located with both buses and trams stopping close by. Steam Jacket’s front bar offers a cosy nook, a community atmosphere for people to connect with old friends and new over hand crafted beers. Our back bar showcases the brewery and is an ideal space for functions and events, or gather around our combustion stove on those chilly winter nights. We specialise in traditional ales. Apart from our core range of Pale Ale, IPA, Amber Ale and Lager, you will find a constant rotation of ales and specialty beers on our twelve remaining taps.
