Big, medium or small - we host them all in a way that you will treasure forever. ​ Whether you wish to declare your eternal love beneath our breathtaking Rock Fig, promise to always be true under a majestic Marula tree, echo your “I do’s” in a natural cave or celebrate your union in a traditional chapel - Monate is the venue for you. Unique dining experiences in a variety of locations are available such as our natural cave, or the Bush Boma depending on your wedding group size. ROOMS Should your wedding party be large enough and most guests stay overnight at the lodge we will offer you exclusive use of the venue so that you and your guest can relax in the knowledge that only your wedding party will have use of the lodge. ​ Monate Game Lodge offers luxurious accommodation in 38 modern double rooms and two luxury villas situated at the Main Lodge. The exclusive Skukuza and Shingwedzi Lodges are deluxe 2 bedroom villas situated within walking distance from the Main Lodge offering a high level of privacy. ​ Other accommodation is available in the area should you opt for a longer guest list. Exclusive use of the lodge ensures your guests can relax and enjoy the occasion while the couple can focus on their special day, knowing their guests are cared for and looked after. Tables, chairs, crockery and cutlery, use of the game viewers to transport guests, as well as personalised welcome drinks, waiters, bar service and a 3-course Reception menu are included in the rates. Our package also includes Skukuza Lodge for the bridal party to get ready in on the day of the wedding, as well as for the honeymoon couple on the night of the wedding, complete with champagne and romantic turndown.
