Wedding Marryoke Full Description
Our entry level ‘Partyoke’ package is more suited for parties or small wedding receptions. Its 2 hours in length and involves your guests singing along in groups to your chosen song. The most popular package is our ‘Ultimate’ marryoke. We are with you all day and ‘direct’ your guests singing a line or two from the song using props and costumes where necessary. We also film other wedding elements like the bridal entrance, first kiss, confetti and the first dance so we can edit together a non marryoke wedding highlights film in addition to your marryoke. Our flagship package is the ‘Pro’ which includes all the elements from the ultimate package but with the addition of a pre wedding shoot and a same day screening of the finished marryoke to show all your guests at the end of the evening. Don't just take our word for it, check out our Facebook page for some of the kind feedback we have received over the years.

What is your most memorable wedding?

I cant really choose a favourite, there have been so many over the years however a few stand out. Shooting a MOD wedding was fun, filming whilst leaning out of the back of a convertible surrounded by hundreds of scooters was a little hair raising though so cool. Shooting a back to back wedding and travelling from one end of the country to the other to film a wedding on the beach in Cornwall was also a memorable, if not tiring one. Recently I was privileged to be part of a very intimate wedding in a clearing in the middle of the woods, it was simple but so effective. Basically if you are planning something special or different then consider contacting us. We'd love to help you realise your dream.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Discreet, creative, specialised, dedicated, perfectionist

What about your business are you most proud of?

My reputation for attention to detail. Nothing goes out to clients until every bit of gorgeous footage has been picked clean, synced, colorised and edited to the highest standard.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Meet your wedding filmmaker. Its essential that you see their work and meet the person who you are going to spend your special day with. Make sure you are on the same page when it comes to expressing your own style and individuality.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Its hard to stand out choosing your wedding favours nowadays. If you have a lot of kids coming then consider a 'goodie' bag to keep them occupied. For the adults, something personalised always goes down well, especially well if its a bottle of something nice to drink. As far as special touches go, recently I saw a Del Boy impressionist invade the wedding breakfast. Not only did he look like the man himself but he had the car as well.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

After the initial contact I normally visit the couple at home and show them some completed films. This is also a good chance to discuss their requirements and to see what package they are interested in. I'll then discuss at length any questions that have and show them a sample of a wedding film shot and edited in the package they are looking at. I'll then hold the date for a week or so until they have made up their mind and then if they decide to go ahead a £100 deposit secures the date. A month or so before the big day, i'll get in touch again and we'll meet to have a final run through so I have a more accurate idea of timings, the final balance will be due around this time. After the day has passed, clients normally receive their finished wedding films within 6-8 weeks.

What is the most exciting thing you have caught on camera?

There have been several 'wardrobe malfunctions' over the years which made me chuckle. As far as 'exciting' goes, i'm just thrilled to be part of your special day.

What is the one film you wish you had directed and why?

At the moment i'd say Ferris Bueller's Day Off, however my top ten is always in flux so I couldn't possible answer..................

What is your favourite soundtrack to put to a wedding video?

I love Holly Maher's, 'Perfect Day'. Its a beautiful song and works well on a short wedding highlights film.

Describe how you got into videography.

I started off working as a runner in a film company in London before working my way up to cameraman over several years. My passion for storytelling was fulfilled when I segued into editing, spending the next few years working at several film houses. Finally after more than a decade in filmmaking I was made redundant and with the money I was given as part of the package I started my own film company, buying all the equipment I needed to get started. After a few freebies to friends and family I slowly built a reputation and haven't looked back since.
