Message from the team

Name of Wedding Contact: Daniel Kinder - TheWedding.FILM
Before weddings, I spent ten years filming popstars in arenas and DJs on tour a. Two YouTube plaques and a BPI award came out of those years, and I'm still proud of them. But none of that is why I do this now. My favourite part of the wedding is the speeches. It reminds me to be a better father to my 2 kids and my wife. It's like a wake up call every time to be grateful. I take one wedding a week, not one a day. It means your week gets my full attention.

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

How do we know who is our videographer or photographer?

We'll go through the portfolio of films and you can choose which styles you prefer and we will pair you with the wedding photographer and videographers who shot those weddings.

And it doesn't cost any more than booking a solo operator as we're collective of wedding creatives passionate about weddings, not an agency.

Why book through a Video Production Service company?

Because one person can't be in two rooms at once, and on a wedding day that matters.

We work as a team. The person flying the drone flies drones every week. The person on the main camera isn't also trying to grab the drone shot, mind the audio, and remember to get your nan on the dance floor. Everyone does the thing they're best at, which is why we shoot on a mix of kit: Canon bodies where we want that particular colour, cinema cameras where we want the film look.

The other half of it is what happens after. Every card is backed up to multiple drives before we leave your venue, following the same protocols used in broadcast and film production. A solo operator with one camera and one memory card has no second chance if something fails. There's no reshoot for a first kiss.

More people, more kit, more backups. On a day that can't be repeated, that's what you're actually paying for.

We're a collective of wedding creatives who are fanatical about weddings, not an agency.

How much does a wedding videographer cost?

Wedding Videographers generally charge between £850 and £10,000 depending on what you want and your budget.

How quick will I get my wedding film?

Trailer Delivered In 7 Days,

Wedding Video In 30 Days

The Wedding FILM team have a background in video production services for a wide variety of clients, including brides and grooms, pop stars, major record labels and music festivals, we work to the production standards of television and film.

Do you have a client portal?

Most videographers and Photographers run everything through scattered emails. We built something better. From the moment you book, you get your own private portal. One place for everything to do with your wedding film.

See where your film is up to. No chasing, no wondering. Log in any time and see exactly what stage your edit is at, all the way through post production to final delivery.

Pay invoices in a couple of clicks. Clear amounts, clear dates, handled right there in the portal. No bank transfer back-and-forth.

Check your statements. Every payment you’ve made, everything outstanding, all in one place. You’ll always know exactly where you stand.

Sign and store your paperwork. Contracts are signed, stored and viewable in your portal whenever you need them. No printing, no scanning, no digging through your inbox four months later.

Planning a wedding involves enough moving parts. Your wedding film shouldn’t add to the pile.

How to book?

Get in touch. Tell us your date, your venue, and a bit about the two of you. We’ll jump on a call so you can ask anything and see if we’re the right fit.

Book your date. A deposit holds it, and you’ll get a clear contract in plain English. No small print surprises. Our team will then book hotels as close to the venue as possible to ensure we’re on site early. No traffic on a motorway, no flat tyre delay, we will be there!

Before the wedding. We go through your timings, the moments that matter most to you, and the venue. By the day itself, you won’t need to think about us at all.

On the day. We stay at a nearby hotel overnight to ensure no accident on a motorway or a car troubles can cause delays. We film all day and, the unplanned bits are usually the best ones.

After the wedding. Editing a film properly takes time. You can track the progress of your videos and photos via the client portal.

Tips for choosing a wedding videographer

  • Watch full films A showreel is the best ten seconds of fifty weddings. A full film shows you what your wedding video will actually feel like.
  • Match the style to what you want Some videographers direct every moment. Others film in a documentary style and let the day lead. Both are fine, but they make very different films.
  • Read the contract? When your films arrive, and what happens if plans change. Is raw footage included? How many revisions do you get? If they say unlimited, be mindful.
  • Ask about audio? Ask how they capture the audio, because that's what makes it worth keeping. Can they hide the microphone so it doesn't ruin your outfit?
  • How many cameras? For bigger weddings, a second camera means nothing gets missed. Ask what they'd suggest for your day. More angles for the ceremony and speeches means less chance of one of your guests standing in front of the shot.
  • Make sure you like them Your wedding videographer and photographer are with you for most of your wedding day.
