What about your business are you most proud of?
100% my reviews and feedback.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Book your videographer first!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Not so much a personal touch, but I have (on numerous occasions) welled up during a particularly emotional speech! There is something about men tearing up that gets me teary too!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Once I receive your enquiry I will send over all my details (including pricing) via email for you to read through.
I'll also invite you to jump on a video call (or regular call) with me so I can say hi, introduce myself, talk through my video package and answer any questions you may have. Or you are of course welcome to ask questions via email.
This call is absolutely not a 'selling' call, I don't do that. My videos and reviews speak for themselves, it's just an opportunity to say hi and learn about what I do.
If you decide you are ready to book I'll send you an email confirmation that includes details on how to pay your deposit and a link to an online booking form to capture some important details.
Once you have paid your deposit your date is secure.
After that you are welcome to get in touch any time for a chat, and I love connecting via the socials, especially instagram! (@ryandevinefilm)
Then, in the week leading up to your wedding day we will arrange a video call with you both so we can have a catchup and talk about the plan for the day.
What is the most exciting thing you have caught on camera?
Not necessarily wedding related but I have caught some amazing scenes with my drone, my recently in the Scottish Highlands! Check out my social media!
What is the one film you wish you had directed and why?
I'm an insane movie and TV show buff, check out my work space on instagram! My list of favourites is pretty endless, but if I had to pick I'd say either Jaws or Blues Brothers. The making of Jaws is fascinating and the fact Spielberg managed to pull it off is a miracle, there is a great doc on youtube about it. And Blues Brothers, well that movie is just cool AF!
What is your favourite soundtrack to put to a wedding video?
I'm just a huge fan of music, from the 50's through to modern day! So any music is good music!
Describe how you got into videography.
Sounds silly but I am of the Jackass generation! My friends and I would make silly little films, then I decided to start taking things seriously!
