One Fine Day Productions Full Description
Our approach to the filming of your wedding day is one of discreet professionalism. We capture your wedding in a natural and unobtrusive manner. Our style is candid, cinematic and fly-on-the-wall. We film from the shadows capturing your day as it happens. There is just a small amount of direction when you go for your ‘couple shoot’ with your photographer. We are as dedicated to the editing of your wedding video as we are to the filming of it. Every second of footage is carefully selected, arranged and colour-graded to ensure a seamless product. What we offer is a natural re-telling of your wedding day, capturing the brilliance, joy, laughter, tears and celebration. Our highlights videos are edited using beautiful, fully licensed music. There are no vows or speeches overlaid, as we like to save those for the full edit.

Frequently Asked Questions
(10)

What is your most memorable wedding?

A summer wedding that had it's own fairground! Very risky with the British weather but it was a glorious sunny day and truly amazing.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Discreet, professional, candid, cinematic and documentary.

What about your business are you most proud of?

The testimonials I receive including my 5 star reviews on both Google and Facebook. I pride myself on being easy going, enjoyable to have a round on the day and providing excellent customer service.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Plan and book everything 2 years in advance.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Pictures of loved ones who are no longer with us will always mean the most in terms of personal touches.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Couples usually end up saying I'm just easy. I meet around 4 weeks before the big day for a pre-wedding consultation. This helps me to plan when and where I need to be on the day. I then try to be as discreet as possible on the day but that doesn't mean I don't interact at all. I love nothing more than having some fun and banter with your guests. I then get back in touch a few days after the wedding to decide on music choices. I then provide the completed edits on USB.

What is the most exciting thing you have caught on camera?

I would say when a Groom made his entrance by arriving in a helicopter.

What is the one film you wish you had directed and why?

Star Wars - A New Hope because it is an amazing spectacle for audiences of all ages, had ground breaking special effects, inspired so many films and people, and will live on far beyond the life of George Lucas.

What is your favourite soundtrack to put to a wedding video?

Tough question as I love so many tracks and it depends what works with the style of the day but I do like Riptide by Vance Joy as it's quite fast paced.

Describe how you got into videography.

I watched Star Wars when I was 7 years old and wanted to understand how that film had been made. I ended up going to university studying Media Production and have worked with both still cameras and digital video cameras all my life. It's my passion!
