What is your most memorable wedding?
Rachel & Tim Foley's wedding at Redhouse Barn in Bromsgrove. This couple were just such fun to be with on the day. They are personal trainers and gym instructors so they were constantly play fighting and mucking about, generally just having a ball together. Yes the venue was stunning and all the little details they'd put into their day were lovely but it was their infectious laughter and constant goofing around that made the day so special. I will never forget it.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Intimate - Loving - Fun - Lively - Vibrant
What about your business are you most proud of?
The relationships I form with my clients.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Find a photographer and videographer that you get on with and communicate your plans with them as early as possible to ensure you get exactly what you want.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I absolutely love music, so it was really touching when one Bride's Mum had written a beautiful piece of music for her to walk down the aisle to.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
First things first, I will send you over my brochure and get a Zoom call set up because, you know, it's crucial that we click, right? We’ve got to make sure we're the perfect match!
Once you decide, "Yep, this is the videographer for us," we’ll have a couple of meetings – one a few months before the big day and another right before the magic happens. I can even capture some heartfelt letters or cool intro pieces before your big day.
Now, fast forward to the wedding day. First things first, I pop in to say hi to the bridal squad and then sneak off to capture some B-Roll. I'm there filming from the moment the excitement starts until a few dances after the first dance – unless you've given the green light for me to stay till the very end.
Once the wedding is over, I’ll be busy working away, editing your footage. Once ready, I'll send your awesome videos through a secure online portal. From there you can watch, download, and even stream on your big screen! Grab those tissues, darling – your family are in for a treat!
And then finally, now the film is delivered, and we become lifelong friends… (don’t worry, I won’t hold you to this!).
What is the most exciting thing you have caught on camera?
I always love the party at the end when everyone has relaxed and is letting down their hair. Capturing a silent disco was pretty fun, with all the different singing tones belting out! Also my camera couldn't peel itself off the dance floor once when one gentlemen just had ALL. THE. MOVES. It was just awesome to watch, so much sass! Loved it!
Describe how you got into videography.
I started filming family and friends' weddings on my phone and edited them together and it made me so happy putting it altogether so gave it a shot and I'm so pleased I did.
