What is your most memorable wedding?
Oh, it has to be the one where the groom’s grandad spontaneously joined the couple for their first dance! Not only did it bring the house down, but it also became the surprise highlight of their wedding film. Who needs a scripted moment when grandad’s got talent?
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Chilled, Discreet, fun, cinematic, and… waterproof (because the British weather doesn’t care about your wedding day).
What about your business are you most proud of?
The fact that I can make couples cry—happy tears, of course! There’s nothing more satisfying than delivering a film that lets them relive all those little moments they might have missed on the day (and hearing they watched it ten times in a row with tissues in hand).
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Get comfortable shoes. Seriously, you don’t want to be limping down the aisle or grimacing on the dance floor. Oh, and obviously, book a great videographer (wink wink)—because you’ll want proof of those epic dance moves after the blisters heal. Oh and more cake!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Step 1: We chat, and you tell me all about your plans, your vibe, and that one embarrassing uncle who might need extra editing out.
Step 2: I send you my packages that fit your vision (and your budget).
Step 3: On the big day, I’m like a stealthy ninja with a camera, capturing everything while blending into the background.
Step 4: You relax while I craft your perfect wedding film with love, care, and way too much coffee.
Step 5: I send you your film, and you send me a photo of you ugly crying over it. That’s the dream!
What is the most exciting thing you have caught on camera?
A double bouquet toss that turned into a rugby scrum. The bridesmaids went full contact, and the bride was in tears—laughing. The slow-motion replay was chef’s kiss.
Describe how you got into videography.
It started with borrowing a camera to film my friend’s wedding as a favor (and let’s be honest, for the free food). Turned out I had a knack for it, and before I knew it, I was falling in love with capturing love stories. Now I can’t imagine doing anything else—except maybe being a professional cake taster.
