Imaginatif Moments is a husband-and-wife wedding content creation team based just outside York, covering weddings across North Yorkshire and the wider Yorkshire region. Sophie and Josh specialise in capturing the real, in-between moments of a wedding day on the latest iPhones and the DJI Osmo Pocket, turning them into polished reels and TikToks ready to share within 24 to 48 hours.
The business was born from their own wedding day. Looking back, they realised what they were missing wasn't the formal photography or the cinematic film, it was the candid stuff: the reaction shots, the quiet moments between the big ones, the chaotic dance floor clips. All the little things that make a wedding feel like yours. They set out to become the content creators they wish they'd had.
Working with Sophie and Josh feels less like hiring a supplier and more like having two calm, friendly extra guests who happen to be filming. They work alongside photographers and videographers rather than replacing them, so couples get fast, social-ready content without anyone stepping on toes.
How we work
Every booking starts with a friendly chat so we can get a feel for your day and answer any questions. A month or two before the wedding we send a content questionnaire, giving you space to flag must-capture moments, key people, and any ideas you already have in mind. That's followed by a planning call to go over the finer details, after which we're all set for the big day itself.
On the day, we move quietly through prep, ceremony, speeches and the party, filming candidly on iPhone 17 Pro Max and DJI Osmo Pocket for smooth, stabilised, vertical footage. Couples on our Full Day package receive a teaser video within 24 to 48 hours, with the full set of edited reels following shortly after.
Our packages
- Half Day (£475): 5 hours of coverage, two content creators, 3 edited reels or TikToks, all raw footage organised in a shared folder, delivered within 24 to 48 hours.
- Full Day (£700): 10 hours of coverage from prep to party, two content creators, 5 edited reels or TikToks, a teaser video within 24 to 48 hours, and all raw footage organised in a shared folder.
- Optional extras: additional hours at £85 per hour, extra edited reels at £50 each, and drone footage via DJI Mavic for £150.
Why wedding content
Weddings fly by. Photo albums are beautiful, cinematic films are stunning, but both tend to live in drawers or on USB sticks. Our content is designed to live where you actually spend your time, on your phone. No digging out the wedding album, no hunting for a USB, just open your camera roll, tap play, and you're right back there. Whether it's the morning after, on your first anniversary, or a quiet Tuesday when you fancy a smile.
It's a relaxed, documentary approach that gives couples their wedding back in the way they actually want to relive it.

Do you replace the photographer or videographer?
Not at all. We work alongside them, never instead of them. Our content is quick, candid, and social-ready, perfect for sharing while you wait for your formal photos and cinematic video.
What do you film on?
We film on the latest iPhone 17 Pro Max and DJI Osmo Pocket for smooth, stabilised, vertical footage that's ready for Instagram and TikTok. Drone footage via DJI Mavic is available as an optional extra.
Can I request specific shots or people to focus on?
Absolutely. A month or two before your wedding we send a short content questionnaire so you can flag any must-capture moments, key guests, or specific ideas you have in mind. If you're not sure, we'll happily make suggestions too.
How quickly will I receive my content?
Full Day couples get a teaser video within 24 to 48 hours of the wedding, with the full set of edited reels following shortly after. Half Day content is delivered within 24 to 48 hours too, so you've got something to share while the day is still fresh.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as you can. Most couples book 6 to 12 months ahead, and peak dates between May and September tend to go first. Shorter notice is always worth an ask though, we'll check availability and see what's possible.
What areas do you cover?
We're based just outside York and cover weddings across North Yorkshire and the wider Yorkshire region. Happy to travel further afield too, just get in touch and we'll work something out.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. We accept bank transfer and card payments, plus flexible payment plans via Klarna so you can spread the cost over time.

Will the camera be in our faces all day?
Definitely not. Our whole approach is relaxed and documentary-style, so we stay light on our feet and unobtrusive. Most of the time you'll forget we're filming, which is exactly when the best moments happen.
What happens to all the footage you film?
Every couple gets access to a shared folder with the raw footage from the day, alongside your edited reels. It's yours to keep, share, and dip back into whenever you like.
