I like to get to know the couples I work with and their vision so that I can create a film that tells their story. The couples I work with constantly blow me away, it's great to be able to share in the passion they have for creating something really special. The film making journey is one I love; sharing ideas, capturing raw and candid moments, reliving the day at my computer and choosing the best song to compliment the couple (that's my favourite part). I have always been inspired by imagery and music and being able to put the two together to tell a story really excites me. I don't like to make your wedding feel like a photo shoot or film set, I have a non obtrusive style using a DSLR camera usually attached to a mono pod. I’m really friendly and really good at being in the right place at the right time. A little bit about me; I’m a Mama to a charismatic three year old who loves to steal my phone and take photos! As a family we love to explore new places so travelling is super fun! I also love exploring new and old music. I buy records and c.d.’s to try and keep them alive because at heart I am a romantic and all things nostalgic bring me joy. On my days off you can find me at the beach or park before I head home to spend the evening in the kitchen - my happy place - with the radio on and a glass of wine. Videography started as a hobby and has grown into a true passion. It all started when I came across some old family videos of my childhood. Being able to look back and hear voices and laughter that no longer fill my daily life was a driving force for me to pick up my camera and create my own memories. Now I make memories for others who want to relive the most amazing moments in their life. Whether your wedding is in the UK or abroad, if it’s in a castle or your back garden, I would be honoured to spend one of the most important days of your life with you.

What is your most memorable wedding?

The first wedding I filmed was a biker wedding and it was out of this world! I love anything that's a bit quirky and different, check out my wedding wishlist on my website.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Fun, alternative, personal, unique, non obtrusive

What about your business are you most proud of?

Elcee Videography has grown from a hobby and continues to grow with more followers on my social media pages.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

A wedding video can get left off a lot of peoples list due to cost, I have a few different packages available to hopefully make it affordable for everyone to have a wedding video. If you have family or friends asking what they can get you for a present why not ask for a contribution to your wedding video, it's a gift that will last a lifetime.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

I love to see when a couple step out of the norm and make their wedding their own. Tom and Hannah had one f their best friends officiate the ceremony and included two of their favourite songs as hymns - the whole crowd burst into a chorus of "Stand By Me" and a Madness song!

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Before the wedding I like to meet or chat with the couple to get an idea of their vision and know that I am going to be able to create a film that they will love. It's always important to get the names of family and friends that are really important to them so that I can make the effort to include them in the video. During the wedding I don't like to be too noticeable but will come out of the shadows for the all important shots. After the wedding it may take some time for me to get a final edit, especially depending on which package you have purchased. It is just me doing all the filming and editing and during peak times I ask for your patience - I will not send you a video that is of a lower standard just to get it to you quickly.

What is the most exciting thing you have caught on camera?

I loved filming one of my grooms, Damian entering his wedding on his Harley Davidson! Some of the bands that couples have hired have been pretty fun to film as well.

What is your favourite soundtrack to put to a wedding video?

Choosing the music for a wedding video is one of my favourite parts of the editing process. I work really hard researching many musicians to find the right fit for the couple and the vibe of their wedding day.
