What is your most memorable wedding?
My own! I married my wife at Fforest in West Wales. It was a festival style wedding, we all camped for the weekend, by far the best days of my life.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
minimalistic, natural, emotional, fun, exciting.
What about your business are you most proud of?
the reactions and feedback I receive from my couples after viewing their films. A proud moment each and every time.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Hire a wedding videographer (preferably me) it truly is the best way to relive your day.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A bride being walked down the aisle by her 2 year old daughter, such a touching moment.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
The first step (before even booking) is to chat with the couple, either by phone, Skype or in person when possible. This helps me to get to know what they would like from their wedding films and puts a face to the name of my business. We would then talk again a month before the wedding date to go through the finer details of the wedding, answer any questions and generally just to catch up. After the wedding I keep in touch with the couple to ensure they are aware of when their films are going to be ready to watch.
What is the most exciting thing you have caught on camera?
I would have to say my trip to India to film a wedding was full of fascinating moments to capture!
What is your favourite soundtrack to put to a wedding video?
The soundtrack to each wedding film is often dictated by what happened on the day and the personality of the couple.
Describe how you got into videography.
I studied Documentary film and Television at University where I developed technical skills and understanding that apply perfectly to wedding videography.
