Our Wedding was truly a fairy tale!
Our Wedding was truly a fairy tale, and the pavilion was the perfect place for it. It was the most beautiful day, everything was amazing, from start to finish, the wedding team, headed by Hayley, were absolutely fantastic! I can't wait to go back for a lovely meal (the food is amazing!) just to revisit those precious memories! It will always have a special place in our hearts!

Everything was very well organised
We booked the York Pavilion Hotel for our wedding, staying the night before and after and having the ceremony, wedding breakfast and the reception at the hotel. Everything was very well organised and it made our experience very special. We stayed in the reception suite, which was a lovely room with a four-poster bed and plenty of space. The ceremony room was beautifully decorated and then we went into another room for the rest of the schedule. It was great to have everything easily accessible where the guests could chat and go into the garden. The food was delicious and the provided DJ was great. Hayley, who was the wedding organiser did a really great job of making sure everything ran smoothly and that we had everything we needed. We were very impressed with the hotel and will be returning again to stay in the lovely building and relive some of our memories. Highly recommended!

nothing was too much trouble
We got married here on the 20th November and couldn’t be happier with the experience from start to finish. I couldn’t speak more highly of the wedding coordinator Hayley, she was fantastic from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble and everything ran smoothly. We couldn’t thank her more. The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The outside of the hotel is stunning and naturally beautiful. The breakfast is well organised with booking times and staff on hand to get hot drinks. We had so many compliments on the wedding breakfast the food was top class and the service was amazing. The wedding rooms are beautiful the ceremony was held by the bay window in the John Barry room and the reception in the Sandy Richardson suite. Also the general manager that weekend (sorry wasn’t sure on his name) couldn’t of been more helpful, like Hayley he went out of his way to make our day perfect.

Our perfect Wedding in every way!
My husband and I got married here in June this year. What can we say, our day was perfect right from beginning to end, we wouldn’t have changed a thing, I didn’t feel stressed at all during the whole day, everything was taken care of and it was well organised with very friendly staff. Full credit goes to Craig, I really don’t know how to put into words how amazing he was and we will always be eternally grateful to your efforts, smiley and professional manner. You definitely knew what you were doing and it was lovely to hear all the lovely comments from our guests on how hard you worked to make everything perfect. Our daughter and her partner recently got married and chose the Pavilion's Whirlwind Wedding package. From start to finish the staff at the Pavilion were 5 Star! Frankie our wedding coordinator was extremely helpful and totally professional. The food was first class and every member of the team pulled out all the stops to give my daughter and her husband very happy memories of a wonderful day. The accommodation is delightful and at the evening reception our guests were able to find suitable areas to sit and chat away from the main dining room where the disco was being held. Both bars were very well stocked and staffed and the DJ provided by the hotel was excellent. All in all, we had a superb day and bearing in mind the whole event took only a few months in the planning, we had a much better day than my daughter's first wedding that took 2 years to plan. Heartfelt thanks to Irene the owner of the hotel for employing such a wonderful team. Special thanks to Frankie, Polly and Pierre for making the day so special. On a personal note, we will return to the hotel whenever we visit York to either dine or stay over.
