We attended a wedding last week and were incredibly impressed. Food was excellent, service was incredibly prompt and nothing seemed to too much trouble. The team working were very friendly and so welcoming.

Just wanted you to know that we’d work with you every week if we could and wouldn’t think twice about recommending you to anyone we meet!!

Jack and the team at the Cathedral Refectory were incredible and our day just wouldn’t have been as good if we’d gone anywhere else. Jack’s attentive, caring, communicative, listens and reassures at every step of the way. His team are hardworking, kind and full of smiles, which really added to our day 😊 The venue is just WOW - every single guest commented on how stunning the backdrop of the day was; it’s the hidden gem of winchester! Have your wedding at Winchester Cathedral Venues and work with Jack, you really won’t regret it; in fact, they will exceed your expectations and make your dreams come true. The only downside is we won’t get to work with Jack and the stunning venue again (unless we can find a reason to have another huge party!)

We have only the best things to say about our experience with Winchester Cathedral Venues. From our very first enquiry, the team could not have been more helpful, making time at short notice to show us round, and being patient with us as it took time to finalise the date. Jack was both laid back and super-organised - we felt in safe hands throughout and had a wonderful day. The food was also sensational.

We couldn’t fault Jack and his team on our wedding day. From our first enquiry to our dream day, everything was perfect. Nothing was too much for Jack and he made us feel at ease throughout the months leading up to it. We had no wedding stress, we thought it was too good to be true! Our wedding day then came and we were blown away. It was everything we dreamed of. Jack was there on the day to make sure everything went as planned and our guest were full of compliments on how attentive he and the rest of the staff were. The food was incredible too. We couldn’t fault anything. We booked the Wessex for the day which is a stunning building with peaceful surroundings right near the cathedral and the refectory in the evening which its perfect if you are looking for a venue after a relaxed ceremony at the registry office. The Wessex can also be used for an evening venue until 11pm with a bar which is perfect. We are already thinking about what other event we could host here! Thank you again Jack!

We had our wedding reception in July 2024 at Winchester Cathedral and we cannot thank the team enough for making this day simply amazing. From our initial tour Jack explained every fine detail of the venue and the bespoke offerings that they had, we were incredibly surprised to find out that you are able to have a Wedding Blessing at Winchester Cathedral! The whole team went above and beyond to look after everyone and we have had such lovely comments from all of our guests on how well looked after they were. Highly recommend this venue, we will cherish all our memories of our special day for the rest of our lives

We cannot believe how amazing Freya and Chris's wedding was at Winchester Cathedral. The reception spaces are beautiful and tidy, and all are incredibly well presented. The garden surrounding the venue was breathtaking. The staff working on the day were fantastic and extremely attentive, we were all very well looked after from arrival to when we left at the end of the evening. Thank you to the team for making this such an amazing day

We attended our best friends wedding in July 2024 and all we can say is wow! The venue was absolutely amazing, the set-up was done by the in-house team and there was such great attention to detail! The day was nothing but excellent, Toby and the team looked after all guests throughout the duration of the day and were such great fun!

We cannot thank Jack and his team enough for creating the most special wedding day for us! From the moment we met Jack and he gave us a tour of the venue, we could tell that this venue was for us! Nothing was ever too much of an ask, the team took great care and attentiveness to ensure everything was done perfectly!
