Steeped in history and full of character, Widbrook Grange combines boutique style with warm hospitality to create a wedding that feels relaxed, personal and unforgettable. Whether you're planning an intimate gathering or celebrating with family and friends, our dedicated team will help bring your vision to life.

Exchange your vows surrounded by loved ones before enjoying drinks in the gardens and photographs amongst the picturesque grounds. Your wedding breakfast will be served in our stylish Kitchen Restaurant, where our talented chefs create seasonal farmhouse-inspired menus with a modern twist.

As the evening begins, celebrate in our beautifully converted barn, complete with its own private bar, outdoor terrace, fairy lights and wood-fired pizza oven. Afterwards, retreat to one of our 19 individually designed bedrooms before enjoying a delicious Full Farmhouse Breakfast together the following morning.

We offer both Non-Exclusive and Exclusive Use wedding venue hire options, allowing couples to choose the style of celebration that best suits their wedding day. Our Non-Exclusive Venue Hire package includes: - Private use of our Manvers Suite Ceremony Room, beautifully styled with cream Chiavari chairs, ivory sashes, a cream carpet aisle runner, and use of our stereo system - Private use of The Kitchen Restaurant for your wedding breakfast until 6:00pm, fully prepared with tables, chairs, and linen (decorations and flowers not included) - Private use of the Manvers Suite for your evening reception, including the bar and garden area, until midnight (last orders and music finish at 11:00pm) - Three double bedrooms and a luxurious Wedding Suite for your wedding night - Support from a dedicated wedding planning co-ordinator - A dedicated manager on the day and a professional Master of Ceremonies - White table linen and personalised table menus - Use of the hotel grounds for wedding photography - Cake knife for cake cutting and an easel for your table plan Our Exclusive Use Venue Hire package includes everything within the Non-Exclusive package, with the added luxury of complete private use of Widbrook Grange for your wedding celebration. We offer three carefully designed food and drink packages, allowing couples to choose the option that best suits their vision for the day. We are also happy to create a bespoke package tailored to your individual requirements. All food and drink packages are based on a minimum of 20 guests. Our Elderflower Package includes a glass of Prosecco or Pimm’s for your drinks reception, a two-course wedding breakfast, one glass of wine served during the meal, and a glass of Prosecco for the toast. The Juniper Package offers a three-course wedding breakfast followed by tea and coffee, along with half a bottle of wine per guest. For couples looking for a more luxurious experience, our Mulberry Package includes everything within the Juniper Package, alongside a signature cocktail or two glasses of fizz during the drinks reception, three canapés per person, and a champagne toast to celebrate your special day. We are happy to tailor our menus and drinks packages to accommodate dietary requirements, allergies, and personal preferences, helping to create a wedding dining experience that is as memorable as the celebration itself.

We offer a selection of wedding packages to suit different styles of celebration, from intimate elopements to fully planned wedding experiences. Our packages include our Elopement Package, the Vintage Petite Package for smaller celebrations, and our All Taken Care Of Package, designed for couples who would like every detail thoughtfully arranged for them. Package pricing varies depending on guest numbers, season, and day of the week, which is why our pricing is shown as a range per guest. We are also happy to create bespoke wedding packages tailored to your vision and requirements for the day. Our All Taken Care Of Package is designed for 40–60 daytime guests and up to 80 evening guests. This package is available throughout the year on any day of the week, with midweek venue hire available at a lower rate. The Vintage Petite Package is based on 20 guests and can accommodate up to 60 guests in total. This package is available Sunday to Thursday. Our Elopement Package is perfect for couples seeking a more intimate celebration and can include the couple alone or up to 18 additional family members and friends. This package is available Monday to Wednesday.

We had our wedding here in January. We were very well looked after and everything went perfectly. The staff were all excellent and the venue was outstanding, we had an amazing day and night. The food was very good and the rooms were great. Claire the Weddings & Events manager took care of everything and really looked after us. We had our wedding at Widbrook Grange and we can honestly say it was absolutely perfect! We went for the All Taken Care of Package and we really didn't need to worry about a thing. Our guests all stayed the night and we all had breakfast together the next morning. We first met Claire who gave us so much confidence that this was the place for us but throughout the months of organising we have met the rest of the team who were amazing and absolutely nothing was too much trouble. We had our wedding at Widbrook Grange and we can honestly say it was absolutely perfect! We went for the All Taken Care of Package and we really didn't need to worry about a thing. Our guests all stayed the night and we all had breakfast together the next morning. As a wedding photographer Widbrook Grange is the perfect venue. The stunning gardens and beautiful cotswold stone building give the perfect backdrop to every photo; with gorgeous dedicated spaces for the ceremony either indoors or outdoors. Claire and the team have cracked that perfect balance of professional and friendly; so the day runs smoothly, to time and is as stress-free as possible for the happy couple and for suppliers like myself. I always love returning to Widbrook, and have done so with my own family for events and afternoon teas, as well as to capture weddings. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?

I have personally co-ordinated over 400 weddings at the venue, so it is very hard to choose just one! However we recently hosted a very intimate surprise wedding where the couple's children had no idea that their parents had planned to get married. They thought they were staying at the hotel for their Mum's 60th birthday weekend. On arrival, the couple gave their children envelopes with a clue to what was really happening that weekend – details of their roles in the wedding! The cat was then finally out of the bag as we played 'going to the chapel and we're going to get married' and the registrars arrived!

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Don't feel pressured by other people's opinions, and do what feels right for you and your partner. It's your day. But most importantly don't stress over the small stuff and remember to enjoy the process!

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

One of our couples allowed their dog to steal the limelight and walk down the aisle before the bride. They even had their own song to walk to!

The front of our Grade II listed Georgian farmhouse is covered in a beautiful wisteria, which when in flower is a stunning background for wedding photography.

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?

We couldn't possibly say! But, one of our couples booked a world-famous band to perform at their evening party.

What’s your favourite canapé?

Our mini Yorkshire puddings filled with rare beef and horseradish are a crowd-pleaser.

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

Grazing boards, because you can enjoy a quick snack between all the dancing.

What is your venue's most unique feature?

We have unique features around every corner, so there are too many to mention but couples love our Bridal Suite, which has the sink mounted onto an old bike!
