Owners, Paul and Vicky, help you every step of the wonderful way as much or as little as you need to make your wedding feel totally yours with mindful, meaningful and clever inspiration to bring smiles and value all round. The only real limit for your wedding here is your imagination.
There is a choice of beautiful natural wedding ceremony areas along with celebration tents from the wild Giant Hat Tipis to the original beauty Canvas Marquee. There is unlimited parking, Forest Cottage, Shepherd’s Huts and luxury Bell Tent glamping as well as plenty of very local places to stay with transport to and from the venue for your guests.
Wellington Wood believe every couple is unique and each wedding different, which is exactly why weddings here are personalised and bespoke, one wedding at a time.

Amazing
Our wedding exceeded every expectation and then some - right from the beginning of viewing the woodland and meadow in April 2021 we instantly knew we'd found the right place for us and that Vicky and Paul intuitively understood our vision. Putting all our anxieties at ease pretty much immediately, Vicky and Paul run a heartfelt operation, genuinely putting in effort to get to know us and our guests were amazed by the whole weekend.

I am honestly still pinching myself
I am honestly still pinching myself that this was my wedding venue. The venue is absolutely beautiful and made for such a special and unique day. Paul and Vicky are just about two of the nicest people you could hope to work with and were more than happy for us to visit several times to make our plans. Paul is also incredible at co-ordinating the day.

Wellington Wood is the most magical place to have your wedding! From the very first time we visited we knew it was the perfect venue. Vicky and Paul are welcoming, friendly and a lot of fun. They are also passionate about providing the best experience for couple's on their big day. Paul even drove out at 10pm the night before to get my best man a shirt as he had forgotten to bring his up! And needless to say everyone LOVED the venue.

Gosh, where to start! This place is absolutely magical and we had a dream wedding day. Our friends and family could not stop talking about the wedding, and in particular the beautiful unique venue for months! Perfect
I was a guest at a family wedding this weekend and what a wonderful day we all had. The ceremony was held in the idyllic woods and it was simply stunning! We then wandered through the woodlands, through the meadow to the amazing teepees where there was so much space, surrounded by beautiful flowers, authentic wooden seating and not forgetting the charming bar. I also have to mention how gorgeous the toilets were!! Haha!
