Ware Priory is a premier wedding venue in the heart of Hertfordshire (pun intended); we ensure your special day is memorable for both you and your guests. This Grade 1 listed venue is where the past and present unite; founded in 1338 with medieval architecture whilst offering a contemporary and spacious venue to suit our couples. Our 7 spacious acres include picturesque riverside gardens; the perfect backdrop for your wedding. We also offer a wide range of flexible catering options, to suit your individual needs. Your wedding is one of the most treasured days of your life and our experienced team will help you plan your day so that everything flows seamlessly (like your attire!).

We cannot thank Ware Priory enough for delivering the perfect day ! From the initial enquiry, to booking and then the day itself it was just a breeze. We felt so lucky to have such a cooperative venue during a global pandemic and are so thankful they did everything they could to make it feel as normal as possible. The food was great, the service was amazing, the security were friendly, the bar was so quick and Kat was just brilliant with everything and everyone had nothing but compliments! It just ran so smoothly there is honestly nothing I could fault anyone on. We both loved every second of our day and so did everyone else, so just thank you so much !

Myself and my now husband got married at Ware Priory in August 2021. From the first visit of viewing the venue right up until our big day (roughly 18 months) the members of staff we met were so helpful, happy to answer any question/worries we had, the communication was excellent and they were pretty quick at getting back to us. Kat made sure our day went smoothly, and ensured everything happened when/as it it should. Highly recommend for a beautiful venue, stunning grounds, and very fairly priced.

A thoroughly splendid day

We had our wedding reception here and it was a thoroughly splendid day. The venue itself is lovely, with a pretty outdoors area to spill into (we were lucky with the weather) and lots of nice backdrops for photos. The support from the venue staff (in particular Kat) both in the planning and on the day was top notch (including accommodating some specific drink requests), and the catering (provided by Gusto) was most excellent, and all quite reasonably priced.

Brilliant and so helpful when we had to switch venue last minute due to covid restrictions. We actually think the Priory was better than our original choice. Lots of lovely areas for photos too!
