voco Oxford Thames is a charming riverside wedding venue that beautifully blends historic character with contemporary elegance. Set within 30 acres of private Oxfordshire parkland on the banks of the River Thames, the venue features a stunning collection of sandstone buildings, medieval barns, and a Grade II-listed 15th-century manor house, creating a romantic and picturesque backdrop for weddings of all sizes.

Couples can choose from a variety of ceremony and reception spaces, including a licensed riverside gazebo overlooking the Thames, the characterful Little Barn with its exposed beams, the light-filled Conservatory, and the spacious Oxford Suite for larger celebrations. The venue can accommodate everything from intimate gatherings to grand weddings of up to 200 guests.

One of the venue's standout features is its idyllic riverside setting, offering beautiful gardens, a walled courtyard, and countless photo opportunities around the grounds. We have five packages - Timeless from £160pp, Elegance from £178pp and Enchanted from £197pp. We have also added a couple of new packages - our Twilight package from £115pp and our Boutique package (for the smaller weddings) from £150pp. Each package includes: wedding breakfast and evening reception suite hire, arrival drink, 3 course wedding breakfast, half a bottle of wine per person on the table, toast drink, table dressing, cake stand and knife, toastmaster, evening food, hire of Chivari chairs, DJ and disco for the evening reception, honeymoon suite for the night of the wedding and a dedicated wedding team including on the day coordinator. Our Elegance and Enchanted packages also include canapes and Champagne for the welcome drink instead of Prosecco. Our Boutique package is as per the Timeless package but is for less than 49 guests and is available Sun-Thurs. Our Twilight package includes evening reception room hire, arrival drink, toast drink, Traditional evening buffet or pizzas, hire of Chivari chairs, DJ and disco for the evening reception, honeymoon suite for the night of the wedding and a dedicated wedding team including on the day coordinator.

It was perfect!It was perfect!
If you are thinking of choosing this venue you won’t regret it. We had our wedding here 3 weeks ago and it was perfect! The little barn was gorgeous for the ceremony. The conservatory was stunning and such a great space for the breakfast and evening, with the bar close. The grounds and the rooms where we stayed were beautiful - we honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more. It was stress free and the staff were on hand to help with anything we needed!If you are thinking of choosing this venue you won’t regret it. We had our wedding here 3 weeks ago and it was perfect! I wanted to express my gratitude to yourself, Shelley, The master of ceremonies and your wonderful caring staff at Thames Oxford. The wedding was amazing, we all had such a wonderful time. Shelley took great care of my Daughter and all of us and she could not have done anymore, Thank you Shelley. In a world of tech, it is so nice to stay at a Hotel where Customer Service seems to be at the heart of all the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Even the rain could not dampen the event. I wanted to express my gratitude to yourself, Shelley, The master of ceremonies and your wonderful caring staff at Thames Oxford. The wedding was amazing, we all had such a wonderful time. Shelley took great care of my Daughter and all of us and she could not have done anymore, Thank you Shelley. We are so sad the day is over! We honestly had the most amazing day! We’ve not had one bad comment about the day, everyone really enjoyed themselves. All the staff were amazing and a big shoutout to Mihai; He was so professional and dealt with any occurring problems efficiently. We all agree that all of the staff working were lovely. The toastmaster and DJ were also fantastic! We are so glad we chose your venue and will be recommending you all to everyone! We are so sad the day is over! We honestly had the most amazing day! We wanted to say a huge thank you for everything. We have had the most incredible weekend. Even the weather was perfect when it really needed to be! We have been looked after so well, firstly by yourself but also by everyone we encountered. Andy was fantastic, the DJ was brilliant, and all of the serving staff were so attentive. The food was absolutely delicious. The wedding breakfast was the highlight, but everything we ate all weekend - was excellent.We wanted to say a huge thank you for everything. Just wanted to say a massive thank you to you and your colleagues for the amazing job everyone did on our wedding day! My guests were blown away not only by the beautiful venue but the food and how helpful the staff were! It was flawless from start to finish! The Master of Ceremony was so helpful and super friendly. He definitely made the day go very smoothly! I was fully prepared that there is no such thing as the perfect day and that there would be hiccups but as far as I’m aware there were none! Travel Notes

From London, leave M40 at junction 8, A40 to Oxford, at roundabout (Headington), 1st exit left ring road A40 towards Cowley (A4142). Carry on past BMW Works, over flyover, next roundabout with traffic lights, take exit left (signposted Littlemore). Road is called Oxford Road. Stay on this road for 1 mile, the hotel is on the right on Henley Road. From North, M40, junction 9, A34 towards Oxford, exit at Hinksey Hill Interchange, onto A423. At 2nd roundabout by Sainsbury’s take the 3rd exit (Henley/Sandford/A4074). Take 1st exit (Oxford Science Park/Sandford) and at the end of the slip road, follow signs on roundabout to Sandford. At ‘T’ junction (Henley Road) turn right. The Hotel is another 1/2 mile on the left.
